Mythic Paladin build Dex to Bow damage?

Rules Questions

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or has been asked before. I did a search for the answer and did not come up with anything.

I am playing a Halfling Mythic Paladin. Currently Pal 5 / Tier 1.

We are playing mostly core rules. Meaning no advanced classes/spells, only the stuff found in the Player's Guide. We used a 20 point buy method but were not allowed to drop any attributes below 10 from purchase (racial mods could). I ended up with the following spread (Before mod/ after mod)

Str 14/12
Dex 14/16 (bumped one to 17 from advancement.)
Con 14/14
Int 10/10
Wis 10/10
Cha 14/16

I generally sit at about +11 / d6+10 damage wise from feats and buffs (not counting paladin class stuff, just party abilities). And that is an admittedly very simplistic result... if needed, i can go into painful detail about how i get to that number and how many attacks I get etc. However, if the cleric or bard are not involved, then I drop a lot.

My question is this. Is there a way to add dex to bow damage? It can be in any resource material that is not third party. He is slowly loosening the reigns, but we need to give a resource and a way to get it in game (he gives out training boons from our societies when we complete a mission). I found mythic finesse but I am not sure if that adds to bow damage(?). I would be willing to maybe have to pay for a precision bow like you do for a compound bow heck maybe 150 to 200 per point.

Any thoughts?

Mythic Finesse requires you to be using Weapon Finesse to get the benefit so that's not going to help a bow.

There isn't any such option to my knowledge. Archery is already one of, if not the, strongest combat styles in Pathfinder, so there's not a lot of push to force it higher.

Wow really. I look at the fighter with a two handed mw greatsword and him getting mythic power attack etc and see myself getting left in the dust. Is that not true?

What materials are you allowed? You mentioned being limited to player's guide. So just Core Rulebook and Advanced Player's Guide?

If the GM isn't being careful with Mythic, Mythic gets really b#@&+@#* really fast in damage numbers.

But baseline? Yeah, archery can be expected to deliver two more attacks each round than melee fighters (Manyshot, Rapid Shot) and can full attack far more consistently since you don't really have to move. Meanwhile its only real drawbacks are obnoxiously easy to negate.

Add in Clustered Shots to bypass DR. But that's out of Ultimate Combat.

Scarab Sages

I really can't fathom a game that is core rulebook + mythic only. I understand a core only game, but if you are adding mythic, why not add the rest of the RPG line, at least the APG.

Mythic is the most broken rules paizo published outside of Item Creation feats and Leadership.

He did not have a ton of books at the outset is the main reason.

I guess maybe he came across the mythic book and wanted to give it a try... maybe.

Item creation being broken only because it no longer requires exp and people can make items jointly without having to have the "requirements" themselves, and they can do it faster etc all with just a skill check, or did i miss something else?

Leadership ... I have not read too much about it. Way different from 3.5?

Does he know that the PRD on this website has all the "core" line up of books?

Uh, have you met Deadly Aim? It's power attack for bows and comes with its own mythic version.

As for dex to damage with a ranged weapon, no, unless you're using a gun. Archers really don't need the help. Grab Adapative to always get your full strength bonus and increase your strength, use your divine bond to improve the bow, and/or grab rapid shot/many shot to make more attacks.
