Unchained Ninja aka Unchained Monk(5+) + Unchained Rogue(4+)

Advice

Looking at the two classes I feel that there will be a real opportunity to combine them to make a sneaky unarmed dex based combatant with a strong skill base.

The key features I see are:
1) dex to hit an damage for unarmed at level 3 rogue
2) pressure points ninja trick for 1 strength or dex damage stacking per hit that gets sneak attack
3) debilitating strike options
4) 2 sneak attack dice
5) New flurry could be stronger than the old flurry
6) Wis to AC
7) Improved Unarmed damage
8) Style Strikes namely flying kick or elbow strike +enforcer+shatter D

Looking at all of this I am not sure the best way to combine it or if it even should be. Assuming starting from level 2 as a PFS character how would you guys build it? Would brawler work better than monk?

Um...I like it. I'd actually make it Intelligence to AC rather than Wisdom, since I feel that goes with the character of the ninja better. I'd also give them reasonable potential for fighting with weapons instead of unarmed.

Im not trying to build a new class but rather make a PFS legal character using the two classes. I'm starting to think a snakebite striker brawler may be a better dip with rogue as the main as you could just pile on the twf feats and use unarmed or even a single dagger with full flurry.

I'd stick Monk over Brawler honestly. +3.5 damage on a sneak attack is not worth -2 attack.

Not any real advice for PFS, but from experience I can say that the combination works. I built an early Runelords opponent as a gestalt Unchained Monk//Unchained Rogue and he was somewhat ridiculous. A lot nastier than what I expected.

I am making a PFS Unchained Monk 1/Crusader Cleric 1 of Zon-Kuthon/Unchained Rogue X. More rogue talents, and using crusader's flurry to flurry with a spiked chain for X1.5 Dex to Damage. I'm taking Bleeding Attack to combine it with Cruelty and Debilitating Strike.

Imbicatus that sounds strong too. Another bit in the brawlers favor say 4 unchained rogue the rest brawler you could have the brawling enchant on a chain shirt and much lower wisdom dependence. Sadly that also means a low will save but unchained monk does not really help you there anyway.

Yeah, saves are always a problem for rogue builds. The cleric level in my build gives me a +2 to Fort and Will, Weapon Focus and access to Crusader's Flurry, the ability to use all cleric wands, and the Conversion Inquisition for Wis to social skills so I can dump CHA.

I don't play PFS, so not sure if this is even legal... But for sneaky and dex to damage.. Goblin makes a good unchained monk/Unchained Rogue.

Can you get 1.5 x stat with the new flurry?

Yes. Unchained flurry does not have the 1x Str damage stipulation of old flurry. The rogue FAQ also means that this works for Dex too.

Neat!

Speaking of Zon-Kuthon, Cruelty is also great for an unarmed build. Belier's Bite adds 1d4 bleed on every unarmed strike, which will proc Cruelty on every attack, as long as the target isn't immune to bleed.

Imbicatus: ...YOINK!

I made this level 7 rogue/monk.

though it uses an updated kobold and all things that modify strength bonus apply to the rogues ability.

What do you mean by "updated kobold"?

it doesn't have s**$ty stats for no good reason. +2 dex, -2 str, +2 int.

If you are using unarmed strikes, I suggest a 5th rogue level for qualifying for Sap Master. Sap Adept+Sap Master+Knockout Artist will make those 3d6 sneak attack into 6d6+18, add enforcer, and rogue's edge intimidate and you can frighten/panic people you hit, splash on Shatter Defenses to get them flat-footed to apply your sap master (also major magic talent for vanish will help)
