Gargantuan Wild Shape.

Rules Questions

Is there any feat or ability in Pathfinder, Path of War, or any of Dreamscarred Press' stuff that allows you to wildshape into Gargantuan animals?

My saurian shaman wants to take a T-rex's form (mainly because it'd be awesome), but normal wild shape only goes up to huge.

Any help from people familiar with Path of War or Dreamscarred Press? Because I am not with either.

Liberty's Edge

Mythic Powerful Shape (feat) lets you add the Giant template to things (so giant allosaurus would be close), I'm not familiar with third party so i can't help there.

what about Epic feats? Does Pathfinder have Epic feats?

Liberty's Edge

Barring Mythic the closest you'll get is Powerful Shape, which can become a Huge size creature that is treated as Gargantuan for the purposes of CMB, CMD, carrying capacity, and defense against special attacks (such as swallow whole).

Closest to T-Rex within size range is Allosaurus, as the dinosaur man says. It's not much of a stretch to allow being a young t-rex instead, but you'll have to ask your DM for that one. Allosaurus is a stronger form, though. It has 3 attacks with pounce and rake (so 5 attacks on pounce), whereas the t-rex has one attack at *2 strength with grab and swallow whole.

I'd checked out Mythic Powerful Shape, which would be applied to said Allosaurus, and mythic is in play, so that may be the way I'll go.

As for the differences between allosaurus and T-rex and spinosaurus, the Allo has the bite 2d6 (which would be 2d8 with MPS), 2 claws at 1d8 (2d6 MPS), pounce, rake, and 50 ft. speed.

Tyrannosaurus, by comparison, has one bite at 4d6, 40 ft. speed, grab, and powerful bite (which doesn't translate through Beast Shape, so I don't get it).

Spinosaurus is actually even better than the T-rex (as it should be), with a bite at 2d8, 2 claws at 2d6, grab, pounce, but different speeds with 40 ft. base, 30 ft. swim.

It seems the biggest difference between the giant allosaurus is that Allo has rake, while spinosaurus has slower speed, but a swim, speed.

And t-rex is just blown out of the water for anything but a Vital Strike build, as that bite can get nasty.
