This book is only the first in the new Legendary Classes series, with the delightful and daring Legendary Rogues coming next, courtesy of Matt Goodall and Jason Nelson. Target date for that book is June 2015, but this might be a fine time to inquire from you, our faithful and fervent fans, which classes YOU would like to see get the Legendary treatment!

It really has to be the fighter.
Emphasis on explorer, but not a ranger. How many of the great stories feature a mage-hero? Sure, mages, but mage-as-hero?
It's the fighter, the possibility that any child with a stick or a toy bow made from willow could become the next Hector or Hippolyta that drove fantasy story telling for centuries.
Do it right. Do the fighter.

At first I was put off by the price tag, but then I saw the page count, and it seems far more reasonable. Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to mine this for my own paladin character, I can't see myself being able to afford it for a while yet... Damn expenses.
I'd love to see Legendary Bards sometime!

Hmm, will this be all or mostly mythic material, or is it only a little of the mythic stuff alongside non-mythic material?
This product (and the concept of this product line) is that it is entirely non-mythic material.
It's possible we could include a few mythic bits in a future Legendary Classes product, but this is all about new options for straight-up Pathfinder play (including hybrid classes, unchained variants, and more).

I think bards offer a lot of fodder for some Legendary expansion.
Thanks for giving the book your consideration - we think the price point is fair considering the length and the amount of content, which compares favorably to a Paizo Player Companion (32 pages, 8.99 PDF price tag).
I hope you are able to pick up a copy once you save your pennies!

Thanks for the answer. By the way,I saw something about 'Legendary Class: General' which sounds like it would be near and dear to my heart. Can we get some hints on what to expect from that one?

Soon.
Very soon. :)

Where's the thread for the legendary Sword & Planet AP? That will be the talk of the town...
We will be revealing more about that at our "What's New with Legendary Games?" panel at PaizoCon, 3:00 PM on Friday 5/22, and we will probably be posting up more information about that after the seminar.

I had a search under the couch cushions and in the pockets of all the jackets I haven't worn for months, and managed to find enough to buy Legendary Paladins without cutting into my fuel money too much. Win!
Giving it a quick skim, it looks like there's plenty here! I'll admit to being new to the paladin party, having just begun playing my first, but it's iven me the itch, heheh. I'll give this a better read and get my thoughts up... Hopefully soon!
And of course bards have plenty of potential! They're the ones who live to tell the tales, after all! ;-)

Nicely stated. I might be feeling a little fighterish at that. :)

There's plenty of detail in the newsletter about this, why not post it in a thread too?

If anyone has it can they review the Paladin one. I'm curious as to how deep the new options run. I've seen single class option products that just mildly give you more options and I've seen single class option products that dramatically change assumptions about a class and open up entire new ways to play so I'm wondering where along the line this falls.

No problem at all! I'm happy to see the enthusiasm!
We should have some of our new artwork for Legendary Planet to preview at the session, and we'll be posting it up on our site as soon afterwards as I have time. Friday evening Neil and I and Nick Logue will be escorting one of our Mythic Mania Kickstarter backers, Harvey Howell, to dinner at the AFK Elixirs and Eatery in appreciation for his special pledge to the Kickstarter effort, so we'll see what time we get done and whether I have time to post the updates!

Another venue for hearing more about it would be to check out the various podcasts. Jason and I did a fairly lengthy one last year with Ryan Costello from Know Direction. And, I believe Jason and Rachel will have about 10 minutes with him at his Know Direction Live! event at this year's PaizoCon, too, so I'm sure Legendary Planet/Legendary Worlds is bound to come up again.

Clutch your purses and hide your hoards, the Legendary Rogues are coming! Check out the latest preview (and some amazing artwork) on our website, and we've included a quick preview below!
This book will be even bigger than Legendary Paladins, and here’s a quick preview of what you’ll find inside:
Legendary Rogues is the latest volume in our new series of class-focused player supplements, this one focused at the fast-talking tricksters, stealthy pilferers, and happy-go-lucky scoundrels that populate every great adventure story. From their earliest incarnations as thieves and assassins, rogues have broadened their reach into all manner of specialties, becoming skill specialists and deadly strikers, leaping from surprise to carve up their enemies, yet there is still much farther for them to go. Legendary Rogues revisits the core class abilities of the Pathfinder rogue in both its core and unchained version, exploring its offensive and defensive capabilities as well as its versatility with skills (including unchained skill unlocks) and rogue talents, giving not only new mechanics but also alternate rules and advice on implementation. The rogue’s arsenal is further enhanced with a collection of feats to enliven and expand the rogue’s capabilities. Legendary Rogues lives up to its name by offering an entirely new version of the rogue class, the Legendary Rogue, including an array of archetypes specifically tailored for it. Finally, we reach back to the roots of the rogue class with a brand-new prestige class, the Master Thief, a lord of larceny that will leave heroes and villains alike clutching their purses and hiding their hoards!
