No, here's the deal:
You make your cameo to mock/harass the PCs, pull off some signature moves for the setting and surprise round.
You are guaranteed to have harassed and likely hurt the PCs.
You are free to suggest tricks/traps prior to the actual action.
Whichever wampi survive 6 rounds, make their escape and return for further harassment later as adds to a semi-boss, as such having the opportunity to cripple and potentially being the crucial piece to the PCs defeat.

as long as it tastes good and isn't just heat, yep!
When I go to Buffalo Wild Wings I get Caribbean Jerk put on my burger (or whatever it is I'm eating) and a side of Mango Habanero to dip my sides/appetizers in. Burns so good.
The masochistic part of really wants to try something with Ghost Peppers worked in... but it'd probably kill me (or at least my tongue and mouth).
What would you say is the best harmless (relatively) curse to have on an item for the PCs to find and carry?

Technical answer? Instant painless death.
Actual answer? There's so many fun and interesting curses that work great with a story that it makes it hard to choose. Hmm, you've got me thinking now...

Hmm, le'see...
Stealing your soul and so now anything that dies around you has its soul devoured by the void in you.
Teleporting/Plane Shifting you/the party whenever you/the group goes to sleep.
Have your appearance completely change at the beginning of each day.
Having your alignment act and react to opposite effects (you're Good aligned but Detect Evil pings you as Evil and you take damage from Smite Evil).

Sudden gender change at the start of every day.
Commenting on how cute every dangerous animal is. (wolves, bears for example)
Being a magnet to [insert type of small domestic animal)
Speaking with a disfunction, like Yoda or simple as an ogre.
Instead of walking, they 'skip and jump'.
Worn items would be best, rings/amulets/circlets.
Would a willsave to try it on be appropriate?

Do you mean a will save against the curse when putting them on or a will save against being compelled to don the item?

Cursed Spellbook with completely random spells in it each time you study for the day.
You drain the life energy of everything around you when you cast spells.
Your blood turns into fiends or other monsters when spelt (to cutdown on the crazy maybe have it occur only you get hit by a critical or after you suffer a critical hit, or just or the damage you take to calculate what CR creature it ends up making).

Wow, that's awkward, what I get for writing while half-asleep. And autocorrect. Something more coherent would be along the lines of:
"to cut down on the crazy that can ensue maybe have the monster creation occur only after you suffer a critical hit or after you've taken a certain amount of damage overall in a fight, the latter could be useful to calculate the CR of the creature the curse ends up creating."

So I am on vacation next week :) I generally just stay home and relax on my vacation. Though I am thinking of visiting the Bronx Zoo and/or the Museum of Natural History as day trips.

Well, I guess you have Sensual, Trickster, Gremlin, and Dafuq Is That?! But some of those overlap.
Gremlins shine the brightest of all those groups!
Especially more than Dafuq Is That?! They try to hard. :p
