So we have lots of cards that use the phrase "Any movement restrictions still apply" (or variants of the same).

The Golden Rule already says "if one card tells that you cannot do something and another card tells you that you can, comply with the card that tells you that you cannot," so this phrase is not actually needed.

Starting with the new class decks, we will be eliminating that phrase. I'm posting here to let you know that just because that wording will be missing from future cards, its removal from cards you have seen does not somehow mean that movement restrictions do *not* apply.


Good to know, I definitely would have questioned this if/ when I noticed the changes.


Thanks for the advance warning! I would probably have ruled it as such, but it's good to have that assurance so I'm less likely to screw up at the table. (I'm generally the rules guy, and once I state something, it usually sticks, even when I try to correct it later)
