Your rich Uncle Pennybags leaves you an inheritance!

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

You're a high level archer who gets word that your rich Uncle Pennybags has left you part of his inheritance. Per his will, his wizard friend will craft you three magical bows, each with a full +10 total enchantment, plus adaptive & impervious (of course).

Your greedy eyes sparkle with glee. What do you ask for on each of your bows?

Alternatively: You're a greatsword wielding martial. What do you want on your three greatswords?

Go!

Oooh.
(For greatsword)
+5 vorpal, +5 keen corrosive burst and flaming burst, +5 keen merciful flaming corrosive burst.

Holy + Undead bane is usually a great combo. Fantastic vs undead and still pretty great towards anything else.

for bows
+5 interfering and + 4 cyclonic nimble.

Wow, I didn't know about these enchants. I wonder; does cyclonic defeat wind wall/fickle winds?

Shadow Lodge

It really depends on what kind of archer I am. For example, Interfering is great unless I've already invested in Improved Snap Shot.

Though I'd probably make one of them +2 Holy Shocking Burst Brilliant Energy, and call it Heavenfire. Brilliant Energy is one of those enchantments that's sometimes fantastic but often not very helpful and occasionally harmful (you can't hurt undead or constructs). I'd rarely get it on a primary weapon but if I had an expensive backup it would be AWESOME.

And for the greatsword one of them would almost certainly be +5 Dancing Something, because then I can use two of my fantastic swords at once!

If you gave my current character a choice of two +10 equivalent weapons, she'd want a +5 Holy Fortuitous Keen Furious Bardiche and a +5 Second Chance Seeking Longbow.

Yes, that's the point.

Liberty's Edge

I ask why Im limited to three copies of a weapon when Id rather a new sword, new armor and some random wonderous object of awesomeness.

I would start with some way of enchanting the bow that my arrows get returned undamaged.

Remember, it is a standard action to activate magic properties such as flaming, corrosive and shocking.

Greater designating is nice as well. If you want to pay it forward.
