Destiny of the Sands

Recruitment

Scarab Sages

Greetings all. I "Had" to make a new requirement thread so i can open up a game play thread once i have the correct amount of players for a game.

IN this game, we will be playing all three of the Destiny of the Sand scenarios for Pathfinder Society. This will be a Pathfinder Society regular game (non-core), played on line by PbP methods. Maps will be on Roll20, unless we decide to move to Google+.

I want to keep this game in the high 3-4 tier, so no level 1 or 2s, sorry.

I will be posting at least once a day, minus weekends, I might post more on weekends, or i might get kidnapped by a lovely lady and forced to go on a date with her. Torture, pure torture.

If you're interested, please chime in here and let me know.

So Far we have....
1. Auriea Bard/Fighter level 5
2. Sidney sorcerer level 3
3.
4.
5.

Grand Lodge

I am level 6!! I just remembered.

16 XP (First steps 1,2,3 and Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment, Rise of Goblin Guild, Frostfur Captives, Way of Kirin, The Blakros Matrimony, Veterans Vault, Among the Gods, Thistletop[3XP], Traitorous Lodge, To Scale the Dragon, Silver Mount)

Grand Lodge

Wheeee, dotting!

As for the weekends, it may be a bit hard to get to on, but that's because of f2f PFS games or work.

As for this succubus taking away our GM, that is acceptable if she leaves him healthy enough to run.

Remember children, the only good negative levels are those imposed on the Game Master!

My hours for roll20 are pretty much 12am - 3am, and 10am - 1:30pm PST, (Monday thru Friday) and 7pm - 12am (Saturdays that I work), but as for the forums, it's somewhat easy to get on while at work during the week, Saturdays being exception.

Scarab Sages

Okay, good to know... Jory, you'll be playing with your level 3... When is he free?

Sovereign Court

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am free now. We were given our chronicle just now.

Sidney is an aasimar angelkin built to move to dragon disciple. He won a boon and has proficiency with a glaive now. Not your normal sorcerer.

Mendevian Weapon Training: Queen Galfrey of Mendev understands both that poorly equipped crusaders are of little use to the ongoing war against demonkind and that an inadequately trained crusader cannot make effective use of good equipment. As a result, those who dedicate themselves to the Fifth Crusade have access to training and equipment that might not otherwise be available. When you would be permitted a Day Job check, you may instead spend 4 Prestige Points to receive intensive training with a specific weapon or suit of armor. You receive a masterwork version of the weapon or armor, and you gain proficiency in that specific weapon or armor (but not others of its type). If you are already proficient with the selected armor or weapon, you instead gain a +2 bonus to CMD against disarm and sunder combat maneuvers targeting the chosen item.
Choose the weapon or armor from the following list: breastplate, glaive, heavy shield, or longsword.

He is one XP from level 4.

Grand Lodge

Oh, as a side note, are you able to get to see my last chronicle and boon?

Scarab Sages

Yep, all looks good so far. I will get this game going next Friday... Or sooner if we get the people.

Silver Crusade

Want some more blasty fire, Amsh? Tyriel's lv 3 now.

Grand Lodge

Sweet! Hopefully I will get to level 6 by the end of this, barring any unfortunate accidents.....

@Tyriel, Who doesn't love more booms?

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

That, sir...makes WAY to much sense.

Grand Lodge

Well, considering some of the things this character can do..... Booms are a great thing. I just hope we have a heavy hitter join us, as I'm not built for heavy damage output.

Auriea is built to compliment a power hitter as Butterfly's Sting paired up with dual Kukris makes for fun critical fishing.

Butterfly's Sting: When you confirm a critical hit against a creature, you can choose to forgo the effect of the critical hit and grant a critical hit to the next ally who hits that creature with a melee attack before the start of your next turn. Your attack only deals normal damage, and the next ally to hit the target automatically confirms the attack as a critical hit.

Silver Crusade

My goal is to build Tyriel into a torrent of unbiased flaming doom. A dervish of fiery fear to both friend and foe. Like a cheese cake.

Scarab Sages

Possibly Tyriel, depends on the last couple of players. Don't wanna send you all in there on a death mission.

Silver Crusade

<.< Death Mission? Does it all burn?

Scarab Sages

2 words. Fire elemental.

Grand Lodge

I love cheesecake!

Takes no note as to the mention of any elementals..... Cheesecake is on the brain!

Grand Lodge

Eldon Garcia at your service, Magus 2/Rogue 1 Dervish dancer, need 2 more xp for level 4, but I might apply pregen and GM chronicles as we advance.

I can effectively use a healing wand through UMD, but I don't know to what extend a more dedicated healer is needed.

As for the Roll20, I love some features as a GM, but with Google Presentations I am able to more often and reliably post.

Scarab Sages

I've been waiting for this series to come up so that I could play it with this character. He's in the process of getting his last XP for level 3. I figured I'd go ahead and post my interest just in case the game he's in right now finishes before this one starts.

Scarab Sages

2 Fire throwers,
2 Fighter types (one of witch might be able to heal with wands)
1 Summoner..

Are you guys good with this set up?

Silver Crusade

I also possess a wand to do the healz. But I am willing to risk death!
To death!

Grand Lodge

A divine caster would round up the group, and with 2 fire throwers we will have problems if we find a lot of fire resistant creatures. Other than that I am ok.

It is usually better to play 4 or 6. 5 is usually a deadly number on new scenarios.

Silver Crusade

CLERIC! Where for art thou Heal-bags!?

Grand Lodge

Best I can do is tap people with the peppermint stick...... and maybe cast a spell or two..... The summoner should be able to heal with a certain stick as well.

Silver Crusade

I too will possess this stick you speak of. It will be made of only the finest apple cobbler you have ever witnessed!

Scarab Sages

Amsheagar rolls his eyes at the talk of his players using their sticks in a manner not suited for stick usage.

Silver Crusade

Hey boys, and one girl, anyone in need of an aspiring swashbuckler?

Silver Crusade

Just saw the no level ones, my bad, peace out

Grand Lodge

They are proper stick usages! It's just that the one I have smells like peppermint, while I believe a summoner's may smell like liquorice.... Although, Apple cobbler sounds good....

Silver Crusade

Its the best sir!
Ask the ladies.

Sovereign Court

Sidney should be capable of high damage output as a sorcerer.

Enlarged with his glaive, a x3 crit weapon, he does 2d8+7, next level it will be 2d8+9.

Maybe I should enchant it, but I am a sorcerer. And it could have been more if I had power attack, but I chose to augment my summoning instead.

Grand Lodge

Oh, no worries. Hopefully I can pass my crits off to you!

Just need come vanilla ice cream with the cobbler, and it would be perfect!

Dark Archive

I have a level 3 Investigator that has done the first two and the GM never followed up with the last one. Keep me in mind if you get to the third and have an opening.

Thanks.
