I attended Norwescon over the weekend, which is held at the same hotel as Paizo Con will be, and discovered that MVP Parking across the street had a convention price of $16.30 with all taxes, and thought it would be a good idea if Paizo could contact them and set up a similar convention rate for locals and/or anyone driving in for the con. As a comparison, their regular rate is around $19 with taxes and the other nearby lot, WallyPark is a few bucks more. Even if no convention special rate is arranged, MVP is still the cheapest convenient option (the Doubletree itself charges $21/day)

The doubletree was only $8 per day for me during NorWesCon. I don't know where people were going for $21... Even on Saturday, the busiest day of the con, where there was no parking at the Doubletree, I was given a voucher for the Hilton about a mile up the road for $8 parking all day.

The contract we have with the Doubletree hotel states that self-parking will be $8/car/day so no one should need to park offsite because of pricing. I know that with 2,000+ attendees at NorWestCon, the Doubletree parking lot filled up and that required offsite parking by loads of attendees. I'm guessing that that shouldn't be an issue for us at PaizoCon.

It's possible that JoelF847 was looking at the Valet pricing (which isn't listed in the contract except as prevailing posted rate) and $21/car/day seems appropraite.

Is the 8 dollars for those staying overnight as well?

One car was free for guests staying at the hotel. Additional cars would have been $8/day.

I went by train, so didn't park at all, but they told me that when I checked in.

Good to know about the $8 parking! I wonder if that includes in-and-out privileges. Hopefully so in case I end up heading out to lunch, etc.

Being right next to the airport, there are several good resturaunts nearby including an Old-school Diner, a Thai resturaunt, a Roasthouse, a Pub, a Mexican resturaunt, and more within a mile or so. If none of that sounds appetizing, you'll need to pay when you leave the lot.

The diner food is pretty good, for any who haven't been. I've eaten there a time or two.
