Some little bits of news

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Just want to highlight two bits of news.

First, the Dice Tower News gave some info from the GAMA trade show. I'm not sure there is really anything new in there.

Secondly, and this seems to perhaps be only tangentially related to PACG (but it does seem to be ACG), check out this bit of news on Board Game Geek. Bullet point 4 is the one that might pique your curiosity.

That is a very strange bit of music...

Grand Lodge

I was really excited to see this announcement. The gameplay style of PACG has ruined a few deckbuilders for me, notably Shadowrun: Crossfire for the big reason that it doesn't have any pesistance between games.

Aren't the characters persistent between games via the upgrades you give them in Shadowrun: Crossfire? (I've not played it, but I was thinking of checking it out)

Sovereign Court

The character upgrades are, yes. I played Crossfire the first time I think just before S&S released. I definitely found it weird after my experience with PACG, but it is extremely fun. I think it requirest least two people, but if you have the minimum players, I highly recommend it.

Shadowrun is quite different. VERY cooperative and the sweet spot is 4 players
