Can anything interesting be done with a sorcerer who's great at intimidate?

Advice

I have a sorcerer (who may or may not see the light of day, depending on what happens in game) who has the pit-touched bloodline. The arcana gives +1-9 to intimidate checks for 1 round after you cast a spell. I was looking to see if there were any feats that would allow a demoralize action to eventually get the victim to frightened (which would be very thematic for the character) but wasn't able to find anything.

Is my google-fu just weak? Are there any feats that a caster could use to capitalize on a high intimidate?

The Omen trait would allow you to intimidate once a day as a swift action. You could use it to weaken a foe's saves before you cast a spell.

On the top of my head:
-Antagonize
-Dazzling display
-Motivating Display

And if you have a way of getting Blistering invective as a spell to your list (maybe a friendly alchemist?).

And for your allies:
-Shatter Defenses
-Scent of fear (pretty narrow)
-Smell fear

1 level of thug rogue gives you the ability to frightened them.

@Thaliak - That's awesome; definitely taking that trait

@Chess Pwn - As good as that is I just can't bear to give up a spellcasting level for it. /sadface

The Call Out feat let's a caster counter spell as an immediate action.
It uses the dueling rules in ultimate combat though.

The feat Disheartening Display, while requiring a BAB of +6 (requiring you to be a fairly high level or running a gish PrC, such as Eldritch Knight, lets dazzling display raise the fear level on anyone who's already shaken, frightened or panicked. Panicked creatures get their fear elevated to cowering. The feat is from the ACG and is PFS legal, if that's of any concern.

If you have a good UMD check, you can also use wands as a fairly inexpensive way to get blistering invective, or a ring of spell knowledge level 3 (a good magic item for sorcerers to have in general; they really increase your versatility) can have BI taught to it from a scroll, though you'll be casing it as a 3rd level spell

@Drackhyo, alchemicgenius - unfortunately, dazzling display and it's line of feats don't fit the character concept, not to mention having to spend a feat in weapon focus just to be able to take it. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

Blistering Invective might be promising, though I don't like the fact that it only has a 30 ft. radius...

Sovereign Court

You might consider reworking the character idea to fit the prerequisites for dazzling display.

It gives you the ability to inflict a save-proof shaken condition complete with the -2 penalty to their will saves, and can last for multiple rounds. Do a dazzling display, then cast Fear. Profit.

Hurtful + Shatter Defenses + Cornugon Smash is great for martials. Casters, probably not...

Dark Archive

I've got an awesome intimidate build, but it doesn't use Sorcerer levels.
(Half-Orc, 1 level Rogue with Thug archetype, 2 levels Order of the Cockatrice Cavalier, 2 levels Barbarian with Intimidating Glare rage power, Skill Focus and Intimidating Prowess, Bully trait.)

Now, I hate stating the obvious, but couldn't your Sorcerer just cast a spell instead?

Edit: There we go, if you're larger than your opponent you gain a +4 size bonus on intimidate. Enlarge Person might work every now and then.

Weapon focus(ray) is a thing without any doubt, I'm not too sure about weapon focus(melee touch attack) but if your DM rules it's good, you could have something here. Plus, the image of a demon-sorceror waving flamy-magic hands around to impress people is rather awesome.

I've seen it used on a bard, don't underestimate an AOE that doesn't affect your allies, and remember that there is no save against the fear effect, so it's a spell to get one attempt on every enemy (rather than an action for each of them). Plus they get on fire which is nice too(cast while on fire? I don't think so!).

Oooo, I forgot about rays being a valid choice for weapon focus! It's absolutely thematic for this character to disintegrate someone and then on the next round use that display of power to intimidate (with a +6 bonus!) everyone around her.

I'm not too sure you are considered "wielding" the ray. You might want to get that by your DM (though you are most definitely considered wielding a charge of a touch spell, but the validity of which for weapon focus is doubtable). Check with your DM to be sure it's fine by him.
