PFS Escorts and pregnancy

So I got bored and decided to make a escort-ish type of character in PFS, who, if other PCs roll a high enough diplo check, might provide her services for a small fee. this raises a 2 part question:

1. Am i allowed to provide those kind of services to other PCs for a fee
2. Is there any risk of pregnancy for female characters (namely PCs)?

I realize this is an odd question but id rather ask now then be blindsided later lol

There's an alchemical item called "night tea" that will both prevent pregnancy and (in higher doses) end it.

There are a couple of things that spring to mind in reading your questions.

First, make sure you're considerate of the other people at your table. You might like portraying an escort PC, but depending on how tastefully you approach that roleplaying, it could be really uncomfortable for others. An out-of-character introduction at the beginning of the game can do a lot to gauge how open strangers are to your schtick.

Second, you cannot earn gold from another PC in Pathfinder Society Organized Play; it would open up some wonky avenues for abuse of the wealth-by-level assumptions if one PC gave all of his gold to another PC, for example. Earning gold for a profession like that is best handled by the Day Job mechanic.

Third, the Diplomacy skill is specifically for influencing NPCs. It does not mandate how another PC treats you, as a PC's actions are that player's choice (barring some enchantment effects). That said, some players are amenable to changing their actions in the face of a high Diplomacy check—typically in the name of telling a good story and constructively building off of another PC's actions.

Fourth, pregnancy is your call—again, entirely based on being a tasteful citizen of your gaming community. From a development standpoint, Pathfinder Society avoids all but extraordinarily rare instances of child endangerment because it's both an uncomfortable and a very overused trope.

Overall, just exercise discretion and respect in how you present your character.

Oh, for sure. I run with (more or less) the same group every week and we all know what we do, when others come in i either tone it down or select another character depending on the circumstances.

Per earning off PCs I must say Im a but sad bit it was also fully expected.

The diplo check was to just add a small amount of fun to it cause just saying yay or nah didnt seem like fun so i wanted to do something different with it. I might end up and likely will chance it but i wanna figure out something to replace it first. overall it was meant for flavor rather than any actual mechanic.

4th: thank you for the good answer its really helpful and good answer.

And I will. thank you.

to be clear, the answers to both your questions are "no".

I agree that this is a sensitive personal and social issue for the players and GM at your table, so be considerate.

in Pathfinder game-speak there are no "mechanical advantages or disadvantages" to being pregnant, it really is a fantasy world!

I'll wait for someone else to pants the first pun.

You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere... It's a fantasy world!

This won't end well.

My Varisian rouge/shadowdancer was a gypsy belly-dancer before joining the Pathfinders. She does exotic dancing in taverns for day job checks. Some GMs will even let me do her day job checks during the game.

Well, in case you know the other players well, you could have them spend gold to something (there's a gold spent box in the chronicle sheet!), but no more than your day job earnings.

In a very local group with trusted fellows I see no problem in roleplaying a... let's say 'difficult' situation. I would completely forgo the escort notion in conventions and with people you don't know.

First, what John said above.

But, while other PCs can't give you money or permanent magic items they CAN give you consumables that are used in a scenario.

Definitely be incredibly careful with it, but I could see "will (insert blank here) for potions" being quite amusing.

Darlin', we should get together!

I'm sure I could give you some helpful insites into the second oldest profession (Cleric is REALLY the oldest profession).

Katisha has skill ranks in both Profession Courtesan and in Craft Courtesan - yeah, Craft Courtesan.

While this kind of thing might not be for everyone, I find the idea of the Day Job check for how much you made to be hilarious, especially if another PC takes you up on the offer.

If you roll well, they apparently tipped you well.
If you roll low, they short changed for you for reason.

Actually, with Compton's post, it's in the "Ended before it began" category.

Wouldn't a low diplomacy roll mean you still provide your services, but you get to charge them more?

I think you have that backwards.

I have a geisha assassin that alludes to extra-curriculars but prefers to use her performance strings to do her job. she doesn't take kindly to being called a whore, and those who do so tend to find themselves stabbed with a poisoned wakizashi.

I've run into several paladins who moonlit as courtesans. immunity to disease lends itself well to that, to say nothing of "lay on hands"...

pretty much the entire religion of calistria is based on prostitution. play through severing ties for a good time.

ha! got the trait Calistrian Prostitute in my background.

Not active now, mind you, but in my youth... dearie me.... and I guess I could always put those skills to use again kiddo, if the mission called for it! (wink!)

"Sweetie, if you have to ask, your not doing it right."

Beaubi looks around for a moment, then sleight of hands a little potion to the gel. "Three drops every week, stop when it is lady time, resume afterward and you have no worries on gettin' knocked up." She also slips a little card. "You can get more at the temple of Calistria." She steps off and waves to her favorite (for now) customer.

Night Tea: This frothy tea made from the bone-white, triangular leaves of the night tea plant renders a humanoid female sterile if drunk every day. In high doses, it may be able to end a pregnancy.

cost is 1 SP a "dose" - so a silver a day.
