The Eidolons "Max Attacks" HELP???

Rules Questions

OK, so guys Ive been playing for a few years an normally stick to the basic classes as they do it for me normally. However today I find myself making a Summoner (my first time doing one) and it states at 10th lvl I get a Max of 5 attacks. Now my Eidolon is being skinned as a Lrg Hyrulian Knight (Zelda Campaign) and so far im doing Alignment Smite and Improved Nat Armor... Now time for the question: Using the Martial Weapon Proficiency Evolution would that give me for example...
15/10/10/10/10 for my attacks? Using Multi Attack (from progression gain) it would be 15/13/13/13/13? Please help as I don't know :(

Also, sorry if this was already covered by another thread, this is my first time actually posting anything on this forum...

Max. Attacks

This indicates the maximum number of natural attacks that the eidolon is allowed to possess at the given level. If the eidolon is at its maximum, it cannot take evolutions that grant additional natural attacks. This does not include attacks made with weapons.

If you're using weapons, your maximum number of attacks is however many you have hands for.

It would help if you could detail the full evolutions of your eidolon.

Max Attacks is the maximum number of natural attacks you can make (you being the Eidilon.) You have to spend your evolution points to get the natural attacks. If you use manufactured weapons you use your BAB to determine number of attacks. If you combine both, your natural attacks are secondary attacks (-5 to attack, half STR to dmg). Multiattack reduces the attack penalty to -2.

........................................................................... ....................................................................I'm sorry to have wasted your time -_- I tend to read too quickly an didn't see where it clearly states "does not work with weapons" ....... Thanks for taking the time to read my stupidity :D

No worries. There are plenty of dumber questions on the boards. (EmotIcon that denotes light-heartedness)

First, you should fully read the rules for Natural Attacks if you haven't already.

As quoted above, the maximum number of attacks your eidolon can make applies only to natural attacks. The rules for attacking with a manufactured weapons are distinct from making attacks with natural weapons. When combining the two, all natural attacks are treated as secondary attacks. Furthermore, you cannot use a claw or a slam attack that turn if you attack with a weapon held in the corresponding hand.

Iterative attacks with your manufactured weapons function the same regardless of if make additional natural attacks. For instance, if you had a primary bite, a greatsword, and +11 BAB, you could full-attack with the greatsword at +11/+6/+5, then attack with the bite as a secondary attack at +6 (If I'm not misremembering the order).

Yea Nat attacks I understand but it was just me not paying attention while reading. I might just revamp my Ediolion Knight concept an try a Mounted Summoner.... though do you know if I'd have an issue being in combat on its back while it fights? If anything It's just like normal mounted combat right?

You will probably need the Mount evolution to ride your eidolon, although that isn't explicitly required to ride your mount.

Besides that, it should function as normal for mounted combat, save that your eidolon is more intelligent than most mounts.
