looking for a little help.
I cant choose tiamats last 3 feats. so far she has.
Feats Cleave, Critical Focus, Empower Spell, Greater Vital Strike, Improved Critical (bite), Improved Initiative, Improved Iron Will, Improved Vital Strike, Iron Will, Multiattack, Power Attack, Quicken Spell, Stunning Critical, Vital Strike, Wingover
Any ideas?
Combat Reflexes? Stand Still, Pushing Assault, Lunge? Can you use 3.5 material? There are some nifty meta-breath feats. Great Cleave? Flyby Attack? Combat Expertise & Improved/Greater Disarm? Steal their weapons!
How do you plan on Tiamat fighting? Spells? Tanking? Flyby breath weapons?
How long do you think the fight will last? 3 rounds? 5? 10?
Isn't Tiamat supposed to be a deity? Seems like she'd be able to benefit from as many feats and special abilities as you felt necessary to challenge your players. What CR are you shooting for and which edition's version of Tiamat are you trying to convert?
To be clear, I don't own the appropriate DnD books I'd need to consult in order to answer specifics about editions, so I'm mostly asking for other, more broadly read, posters' convenience.
If you're just trying to convert the idea of Tiamat, then I'd still like to know what CR you're aiming for.
Suggestions for 3 feats regardless: Combat Reflexes (there's no way she wouldn't have this), Leadership (she's got loads of followers and priestly minions), Great Cleave or Maximize Spell for the last spot.
Well im creating her as a mythic monster. I created a new subtype akin to demonlord and great old one.
She is a non god conversion drawing inspiration from the 3e Manual of the planes conversion and older material.
Being smart she would probably soften enemies up from the sky with spell and breath than pick off the leftovers with melee. dependson where they fight her.
CR?/MR?
I think 3.5 came out with an Avatar system with weaker versions of gods and demonlords. So there might be a CR 10 Tiamat, a CR 15 Tiamat, and a CR 20 Tiamat, all representing the actual CR 30 Tiamat in different places at the same time.

And I will second the breath weapon feats from 3.5 draconomicon if you feel like going that way.
CR 29. Equvilant to MR 10.
Wanting to stick with paizo stuff for feats and whatnot.
Ability Focus breath weapon, Awesome Blow, Fly-By Attack. Combat Reflexes as a bonus feat, and if her Dexterity is less than 12 or so, maybe a special ability to use Strength, Constitution, Wisdom, or Charisma as her ability score for determining how many AoOs she gets.
