Swashbuckler Finesse

Rules Questions

Does Swashbuckler Finesse qualify as Weapon finesse for entry into the Duelist Prestige class. Needs to be PFS RAW. I am guessing no, but thought I would ask the experts anyway.

Yes. Swashbuckler Finesse counts as weapon finesse for purposes of meeting prerequisites.

Quote:
Swashbuckler Finesse (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler gains the benefits of the Weapon Finesse feat with light or one-handed piercing melee weapons, and she can use her Charisma score in place of Intelligence as a prerequisite for combat feats. This ability counts as having the Weapon Finesse feat for purposes of meeting feat prerequisites.

Well it does only say feat pre-requisites...

Cool wasn't sure if the last one only counted for Feat prerequisites not prestige feet requirements.

That depends on if feat prerequisite means the prerequisites for feats, or a feat as a prerequisite.

Well, you can read that as either 'prerequisites for feats' or 'prerequisites which are feats'. I assume the latter, which counts for both feats requiring other feats, as well as prestige classes that require other feats.

Or it means both!!!!

The latter rather includes the former anyway.
