class dipping question

Rules Questions

I have a 2nd level Brawler who took a 1-level dip into Fighter. If I do the next level in Fighter, can I do it with a fighter archetype (I didn't use one for the last level)?

the archetype is decided at the first level, if you do not select it then you can't select it later. You can talk to your GM to see if he will allow you to change it (it shouldn't be an issue since it was only 1 level)

Thanks much!

Yeah, you can only have 1 set of class levels in a class.

So you can't be a two hand fighter archtype 1/bralwer 1/two weapon fighter archetype fighter 1.

You have 2 fighter levels and they must be 1 archetype, or at least all your levels contribute to the overall powers you recieve. By which I mean its possible to take more than 1 archetype depending on if they change or replace the same things or not.

I.E. You could be a level 2 Drunken Master of the Four Winds (2 monk archetypes: Drunken Master, and Monk of the Four Winds) You simply level as normal and gain the abilities from both of those archetypes since none of them replace the same monk abilities
