Pathfinder Society Event

If I post an event, can it be a private event with my Pathfinder group or will it always be open to the public? I am new to the Pathfinder Society, I want to make sure I understand what is going to happen, rather then have strangers show up at my house. Thank you!

You can create a private event. There is a box you can check to make the event private. Just be sure that even with a select group of people that you follows the rules outlined in the guide to organized play if you are playing for PFS credit.
