So Hare Brained Schemes is working another installment of Shadowrun Returns. This time set in Hong Kong. I'm surprised that it hasn't shown up here yet. Here's the kickstarter Link
It's shaping up up to look quite interesting.
Hmmm. Intriguing. Given that I have a computer capable of running it again (i.e. I'm not relying on my 5 year old netbook anymore) I'll definitely be checking this out. Also need to go back and finish the other previous campaigns.

On the one hand, I love this series. If the improvements from Shadowrun Returns to Dragonfall and from Dragonfall to the Director's Cut version of Dragonfall are any indication, I'm just going to enjoy the gameplay more.
However. I am worried about . . . well, RPG's in general having a tough time exploring Asian settings without getting kind of racist. Maybe cyberpunk as a genre will have a better time dealing with it than fantasy. I trust HBS to do their best, but I'm still wary . . .

I agree that the Director's cut of Dragonfall was a huge improvement over Shadowrun returns. Dragonfall is really what drove me to back the Kickstarter for Hong Kong. I highly recommend anyone interested in Shadowrun to check it out.
