Ok, So we all know that secondary targets get reflex saves against the splash damage from alchemist bombs BUT does the primary target, assuming that he is hit directly, get a reflex save to avoid the follow up sticky bomb splash damage on the following round? I was sort of assuming not because of the original to hit roll required but one of my players brought up the point that it is still labeled as "splash" damage and he should get a save. What do you think?

Bumping that old thread.
Asked the exact same question to a seasoned local 5 stars DM and according to him primary target should get a reflex safe against the splash damages on the next turn.
As my wife intends to play that character a lot in an upcoming convention, and to avoid debates when possible, wanted to gather some more opinions on the subject.
Additional query: if primary target is hit by multiple bombs in a turn (let's say 3), does it get 3x the splash damages ?

I would agree with the reflex save for half in the following turn:
The alchemists bomb ability says (Caps added for emphasis)"..Those caught in the SPLASH DAMAGE can attempt a Reflex save for half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the alchemist’s level + the alchemist’s Intelligence modifier."
The stick bomb ability says:
"...Creatures that take a direct hit from a sticky bomb take the SPLASH DAMAGE damage 1 round later."
Both abilities refer to splash damage. I would also says that each sticky bomb that hits a target (such as with fast bombs)applies it's splash damage separately, so 3 hits would be 3 splash effects the next turn. However, I would also rule that the resistances would apply separately to each of the three this, and each would have it's own save as well.

I would say they don't get the reflex save. I'm thinking more thematically than "rules-lawyer" mechanically, but reflex saves are usually about jumping out of the way, and you can't jump out of the way if it's stuck to your skin.
@Lady Gragra ~, your best bet is to just ask the gm what they think befire the session and go with that. It's not likely to be that un-balancing either way, but knowing ahead of time how they'd rule it means your wife can plan accordingly.
