Dueling sword concepts, need a hand.

In my current concept is to try to make a Bard with the dervish dancer archtype that focuses on use of the dueling sword.
I need a way to get the exotic prof for the sword, plus getting the other fancy stuff like dueling mastery and slashing grace.
So far in my research i have come up with this set up:

Human lvl 5

Bard lvl 1 for the favored class bonus later on
Feats: Dueling Sword Prof, Weapon Finesse

Fighter lvl 2 and 3: Slashing Grace, Quick Draw, Weapon Focus: Dueling sword.

Bard lvl 4 and 5: Dueling Mastery.

The point is that i would like to find a way to gain prof. in the dueling sword that is not a feat, then i will have the set-up ready by level 3 instead of 5.

Instead of one of the levels of fighter take a level of kensai magus. You get proficiency in the dueling sword and weapon focus as bonus feats, so 2 of the required feats rather than just one that level.

Ooh, nice i didnt look into the Kensai for that at all, this is perfect to get it sorted out before lvl 5.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why the dueling sword? The scimitar is functionally identical in design with a superior crit profile, and easier access to dex to damage in Dervish Dance.

I thought about the dueling sword before for the +1 to hit from Swword Scion trait. This was for a rogue/inquisitor though

Tengu has free proficiency with all swords and sword-like weapons. Half-elf can swap out skill focus for proficiency in any one weapon as a racial trait (though that is using a feat for another feat).

Purely on the astetic of the whole thing, but also due to the dueling mastery feat for some free shield bonus and i am not restricted to have a empty off-hand for my damage.

And its to put the dueling sword to use, i like building builds after a theme and then make it work. This time it was to see if i could get dueling mastery to use early with a bard.
