Wait. What? Why did you name your item that-- what does that even meaaannnn in context

Am I the only one that gets turned off to an item when it explains basic rules to me? Things like you get a +1 enhancement bonus, unles you are this supersecret class, then you get a +4 enhancement bonus. This bonus is in place of the +1, as these bonuses don't stack (Note: bonuses picked randomly to not point out any specific item)
But having basic rules explained to me just automatically turns me off to an item, no matter how awesome it was otherwise.

Wait.
Are you telling me I can...shoot people with katanas?
I'm not sure if that's mad or brilliant.

I dunno about anyone else, but I am seeing a lot of duplicates. One Item I have seen a total of four times. A bunch of other items I have seen twice or thrice. Isn't this supposed to be impossible?
Nope. Not impossible. The pairings are according to the algorithms of the program. You're going to see repeats. It's inevitable.
Alayern wrote: I dunno about anyone else, but I am seeing a lot of duplicates. One Item I have seen a total of four times. A bunch of other items I have seen twice or thrice. Isn't this supposed to be impossible? Nah, it needs to do that. If you say A is better than B and C is better than D, it has no idea whether C or D are better than A or B until it brings up a crossover.
I think it just shows us the same pairings to check if we're consistent.

Thank goodness you put in the crafting requirements, because I have no idea what kind of item this is from your description.
My favorite item so far has got to be the 253 word item that has one 5 word sentence that transforms it from last year's wondrous item into this year's weapon while still calling it last year's wondrous item.

Every time I see this item, I do a double take, because there's another one almost exactly like it.
think I have hit the wall for a while with wall effect shields, no more voting for today.
I can only hope that once my item shows up for me, it continues to show up as often for me as you do, oh arch-nemesis of sense. You're like a punch in the face every time I see you, though at least you're a short punch in the face.
Found a few spells I thought were 3PP, just in obscure Companion or Setting books.
So many items that started as wondrous items and were shoehorned badly into this years item types.
Ah, my old down vote friend, time for someone else to get a nice...
OMG what?! No, from what pit did...
*Harsh Breathing*
Ok, my down vote friend, as you do not actually steal sanity from me and talk about poop, today you get a vote.

But...but if someone/something is about to kill you, how do you activate... *head asplode*
Man that is a steep price for a +1 weapon that doesn't really do anything.... Must be a REALLY low magic campaign.

I am so glad quite a few people made sure I knew their items were entries into Round 1 of RPG Superstar...

This contest has taught me that I intensely dislike pure class feature/feat in a can items.
This is my personal preference, and I have seen at least two items that do it well but generally I down vote such.

If your construction requirements include 187 items, you might just have created a Swiss-Army-spell-in-a-staff/ring/rod.

In fashion: mysteriously formless objects that require lengthy description of their varying forms...
(I just saw the most awesome rod ever, btw. I won't say anything about what it does... but it's exactly what a rod should be, afore the metamagics moved in... an object anyone of any class could find a neat use for).

items made from "an obscure type of [x] special material", which has none of the properties of [x] special material.
I must have missed the memo on shields that are submitted must be polished to a mirror sheen.
And seriously, using HD as modifiers? That's a bit much.

Way underpriced, and I'm not entirely sure you were always meant to be a weapon. But darn it, I love your moxie and creativity, little [redacted]. You get a cookie. And an upvote.
Thats superstar material? Scary. I wouldn't keep that armor if my DM gave it to me at 1st level....

By definition, a pair of items is not a single thing. Please stop referring to them as such.

Action limitations? Bah! That's for people who DON'T have this little grossly-underpriced [redacted]!
JJ Jordan wrote: I think I would prefer if voting was either weapons and armor OR rings, rods, staves. I find it hard to compare across these categories since weapons and armor should be combat oriented while the others can do more or less whatever (similar to wondrous items). I think the current variety is better. Imagine trying to vote 5k times and not seeing anything but a very limited category of items. I find myself getting bored faster with voting this year already.

I'm gonna vote your opposition every time I see you little one, until you get compared to the thing I also vote against every time I see it, then I'm gonna have to search my soul real deep.
...real deep.

Even if it's the funniest joke in the world, don't put it in your item description.
So the name is a misnomer then? :/
That's kind of a cool item. Unfortunately, that creature is not the same as that other creature in this game.
I finally saw my item. It looks so good, except it didn't look nearly like such a wall of text when I submitted it...
The item I just read apologizes profusely for its tasteless assault on education by feminists and egalitarians from many centuries. Or it needs to.
Uhm, if you don't know what it's made out of, how am I supposed to?
Making up verbs out of nouns now, are we?
Hmm...decent item missing some necessary mechanical details, or an item that's clearly a wondrous item masquerading as something else?

I appreciate your ability as at least a vanilla magic weapon, but I find your lack of superstar disturbing
If only there were a special type of wood for all of these wooden weapons to be made of, instead of mithral.
