What is it with the lightsabre?
I could see how someone would want something like that, from a certain point of view. As a lightsaber crossguard, it would help prevent being disarmed... literally, during a lightsaber fight.

Not realy...because the opponents blade slides into the corner where the lightsabre is.

Or someone uses it to press down on your blade and you cut your own hand off with it...of they push it hard into your chest to stab you with your own cross guard.
