I'm pretty sure you're neglecting the contributing effect of water.

DHMO (dihydrogen monoxide) is in everything we eat and drink, and it's the prime waste product of burning ROCKET FUEL! The space program is killing our children.

Nonsense! The Midnight Lord is merely misunderstood. He simply wishes to spread joy to the unenlightened. If anything, his nasty sister Shelyn should be banned. The very gall of her, stealing and appropriating his prized sacred weapon to suit her own vanity.

Yeah. Having a character who worships the enemy's religious group doesn't actually confer many advantages if you stop and think about it.

If Kyobi the Pain Taster did in fact run across Kuthites in one of the adventures that feature them, he'd be happy to test their faith in the Midnight Lord by seeing how much punishment they could endure! If they can't take the heat, they should get outta the kitchen.

Time travel. They keep changing the past, but I can never remember what they changed.

Summoner, the whole dang class.
Superior summons, promotes summoning down which bogs the game down.

Silver Crusade 2/5 *

Druid before summoner. They can put out more creatures.

Excluding superior summons I have less of a problem with druid because the problem with the summoner is it's spell list (L2 haste) and the edilon being stronger than an animal.

Meh.

The eidolon is stronger than an animal companion, but the druid himself is stronger than the summoner himself.
Summoner gets haste 1 level sooner than the wizard and only has 1 or 2 possible a day. To me, not that big a deal. A lot of groups are buying a scroll of it by then anyhow.

Superior summons can definitely be a problem. My sorcerer has it but only uses it if every at the table (GM and all the players) asks me to do so. Not to long ago, at the tables request, I flooded the field with my army. I had something like 20 small earth elementals bull rushing people off the castle walls and towers then getting in the way so the army couldn't effectively gang up on us.

I just recently found out that it seems to work pretty well in PbP, since I have pretty much as long as I want to take my turn anyhow. I have 6 lantern archons each firing 2 rays. It is one post with 12+ lines that pretty clearly show what is happening. Doesn't really slow things down at all.

I'm actually considering starting a new PC as a summoner (or druid that summons) and only using it for PbP. That way I can really let myself go summoning creatures without anyone needing to wait on me and my long action turn.

Except that druids can summon in even more creatures with an active animal companion, and most summoners can not do the same with the eidolon active.

Everyone is just a whining immature baby on this thread. "omg this thing is op, we sould ban it." blah blah blah....

Spring loaded wrist sheath. Partially because of all the arguments abut it, but mainly because it wasn't included in Ultimate Equipment and I don't want to buy another PDF just for that one item.

If I can't use the cheesey items, no one should be able too. :p

Why not just do "I wish X was LEGAL"
Let's look on the brightside, people.

Is this a PFS experience you've had? If so, then you should totally talk to one of your Venture Officers.

this wasn't a PFS experience but was posted before this thread was moved to the PFS forum, sorry. it was a local gaming store experience though.

I wish people with the same forum avatars posting in the same thread was illegal.

Oh, wait.

Well, I broke down and bought the Adventurer's Armoury, so I don't want this to be illegal anymore.
