So this is the Grand Lodge.....

Grand Lodge

A wispy, thin man, with short white hair, pale skin, and the looks of blue tattoos going up his neck and down his left arm, walks into the hall. His sleeveless shirt and cloak were vibrant blues, purples, and greens, as his pants were of violets, crimsons, and oranges; the man looked almost like a parading peacock. As he walked towards a table, there seemed to be a slight breeze about him, muffling his foot steps to almost silence.

"Umm, anybody here? I'm looking for a room to stay whilst I get some things sorted out..."

Auriea then sets his backpack on the floor by one of the large tables nearby and starts to stretch.

Grand Lodge

"Down the hall, first room on the right. I think." A tall half-elven man wearing a military officer's uniform ponders for a moment. "Yeah. Probably."

Grand Lodge

Auriea bows towards the man in uniform.
Thank you so much, sir....
His face scrunched up a bit, seeing if the kind, uniformed man would let loose his name.

Grand Lodge

"Kyros. Kyros Deun. You?"

Grand Lodge

The name's Auriea, dancer for hire!
Auriea sweeps an arm out wide as he bows again.
It'll be a pleasure to adventure with the Pathfinder Society!

Grand Lodge

"Once you get past all the near dying." Kyros chuckles.

Sovereign Court

Its the real dying that gets you.

Grand Lodge

"I wouldn't know yet, Righty. I intend to never find out."

Grand Lodge

Bwahaha!I've come close a few times, yet managed to live to tell me tales. Nothing more enjoyable than destroying something that has me legs at death's door! Aside from tha' it looks like you appear to be one of them dandy types, who don't know where to stick tha' pointy end o' yer weapon....

Grand Lodge

I know a guy who can help you with that death thing, for a reasonable price of course....

Grand Lodge

"Me? I've been fighting for the Lodge for the past 2 years!" He draws out a well-used warhammer. "This thing has been with me for both of them."

Grand Lodge

Yeah, I prefer to make my enemies do the dying. But if you ever do the dying bit, you know who to contact....

Grand Lodge

Oh my, that is quite the hammer....
Turning to the impolite dwarf and starts chiding
As for you, mister dwarf, I know quite well as to were to stick my pointy bits!
Auriea looks slightly flustered, and turns back to Kyros and Quintin
I can help with the not dying of any group that I am in, as well as maybe help out with the forceful negotiations that seemed to be encountered quite regularly with my tools.
Drawing out his dual kukris, the Sylph shows the two adventurers his new tools of his adventuring career. One of the weapons was a slightly dull gray, while the other seemed more like a decorative silver.
I just bought these on the way in from the first few requests I got before arriving in Absalom. I heard that this dull one can hurt devils and fey-folk, and I thought this one was pretty!

Sovereign Court

I only met Pharasma once, she's a nice enough person for a goddess I guess. Luckily I know this Tiefling Calistrian over in Riddleport who was just dying to get me on her table. Or maybe it was the other way around.

Grand Lodge

Rezzed in a Calistrian temple? I would rather make a deal with a devil.

Grand Lodge

Kyros smiles a little. "Demons, Auriea. The difference nearly killed a very good friend of mine. I actually went to a Calistrian temple once, on business. It was...interesting."

Grand Lodge

Fingers a chain of aspis badges along with a rather pointy holy symbol of calistria

Revenge. Sex. Same equipment in temple. Schedule whips. weeks ahead. Still scramble at last minute.

Dark Archive

A half-elf of obvious Varisian descent walks in yawning.

"Calistrian temples can be fun, but you gotta stay on your toes. You never know when somebody's gonna stab you in the back for some perceived sleight."

Dark Archive

"By the way, anybody know where the astronomy section of the archives is hidden?"

Grand Lodge

Quote:
"Calistrian temples can be fun, but you gotta stay on your toes.

Doing it wrong.

Liberty's Edge

"I think it's..two lefts and a right. if that's not it, I recommend asking someone who's been to the astronomy section.'

Dark Archive

Could someone please point me to the cafeteria? My crocodile, Chompy, is getting a bit peckish and I haven't budgeted for any Regenerate spells this month. For my arms, you know. Anyone? I'll just look for it myself...*trips and falls down stairs*
Whoops! I'm ever so clumsy...(I have 7 dexterity).

Grand Lodge

Croc point right way. Let him lead. Do not turn left. Swimming lessons. Bad.

Grand Lodge

Posted as the wrong guy. Nesod should be Kyros.

"Need me to help you up?"

Dark Archive

"Thank you. I much prefer to do something productive with all this free time the Society has given me, and finally getting a look at their star charts is a good start."

Grand Lodge

"You're an astronomer? I've never been much good at it, myself."

Sovereign Court

Hey Kyros, no using the hat of disguise that's my trademark.

"Oh yes, I come from a long line of stargazers. I don't think I introduced myself. I'm Cathran Casrua, pleased to meet you."

Grand Lodge

"Hello, Cathran. Kyros Deun, chevalier of wherever needs chevaliers!"

Grand Lodge

Sorry, I spaced out a bit there..... Oooooooooh, stargazers! I love the stars at night, they're so pretty!

Dark Archive

"And always tantalizingly out of reach. If only we could find a portal..."

Realizing she said this aloud, Cathran hastily adds,

"Sorry, just thinking out loud."

Grand Lodge

I heard there is a piece of clothing that will let one travel the stars......
Auriea starts to pace about, tapping his head in thought.
Ah ha! The Starfaring Robe! It's a bit pricey though....

Dark Archive

"That's a short-term solution. It's only good for one person and it could still take years to reach the nearer stars. If your destination is even more distant and you don't want to go alone, you really need to find a portal."

With a thoughtful look, she adds,

"Of course, if you had a team with Starfaring Robes and sent them with the tools to build a portal..."

Grand Lodge

"If there is a suitable means of communication with distant entities, and if travel is desired and feasible, then the greatest of magicks can enable juxtaposition and interface with any sentients with only minimal expenditures of time and effort. If your discussion is already including the multiannual transversal of the void, then simply learning enough about magickal endeavors is perhaps a preferable choice in transportation. One can only imagine that at the velocities engendered and the distances covered that the touristical aspects of interstellar flight might lend themselves to static ennui rather than wonder at changing dioramas." He shrugs and clasps his hands behind his back. "Also, a team for erecting a portal-stone could be sent in this manner as well. And has been, in the historical record."

interplanetary teleport has the capacity to go anywhere that you have knowledge about.

interplanetary teleport has the capacity to go anywhere that you have knowledge about.

Interplanetary teleport is useless for the same reason they can't just start by building a portal on Golarion: you need knowledge of the destination.

Grand Lodge

Looks like we need some Space Privateers to scout different planets for the mighty Grand Lodge..... You know, for research and stuff.

Dark Archive

Cathran staggers into the mess hall and drops into a chair.

"I really don't like goblins."

Finally noticing the arrow sticking out of her leg, she pulls it out.

"Ow. Bit of advice: if the Society ever sends you to the first level of the Emerald Spire, bring lots of people with darkvision. I need a beer."

With that, Cathran lands face down on the table.

Grand Lodge

A gnome hops up onto the bench, next to Cathran, and takes a few seconds to examine he arrow wound. He gestures for someone to bring her the beer she requested. Then pulls a couple of leaves from one of his pouches, crumbles them into the drink and places it in front of her.

"That should keep the swelling down, and ward off infection."

He smiles before quipping . . .

"I have heard the bards' song - a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down - but my opinion is that this is the surest way to make a Pathfinder do what's good for her health!"

Dark Archive

A white tuxedo half elf wearing a ruby studded vest smiles and taps a wand. His perfect white hat covered in flames, ejects a small flying dragon that lightly taps the fallen Pathfinder. The dragon returns to the flames and wraps himself back around the brim.

Hello Im Bob. I see the blood has stopped. You'll be fine in a few days.

Grand Lodge

"I'll go fetch some bandages and salve." The half-elf woman departs briefly, coming back with cotton gauze and a jar of green paste. She seats herself on the floor by Cathran's injured leg.

"Shall you, or shall I?" Pleiades asks as she unwinds a length of gauze. "I'm better at wrapping my hands around a foe's throat than I am with wrapping dressings on a wound."

Dark Archive

Cathran's head jerks up with a start.

"Snwlflgh?"

After her eyes focus, she notices the beer in front of her, mutters something that might be a "thank you", chugs it and passes out again.

Dark Archive

Bob shakes his head, "guess we need a lawyer. Page the Meri Doc, Sue tell him he has a patient in the main hall." Bob clicks off a haste.

The miniature dragon perks up and zooms out the door towards the Darkive. Bob adds, "Meri's a strange one but a fine doctor."

Dark Archive

A wild Mastiff riding metal clad halfling rockets through the hall. He yells emergency as he fires off rays of fire into the air over head. A chelaxian banner tops his lance and he leaps over the saddle to land just short of the victim.

All 1 points of damage from the goblin arrow are healed. There's a reason she didn't notice the arrow was still in her leg. She starts snoring.

Dark Archive

"Bob this one's as drunk as Cayden on a Tuesday morning." Meri smirks, "Neutralize Poison? Or sing a few stanzas of what do we do with Drunken Pathfinders earlie in the morning?"

Grand Lodge

"I think you've done enough on that front now." Pleiades begins shooing away the two Dark Archivists. "And put away that wand of Infernal Healing!"

Dark Archive

Infernal healing's so outdated. I prefer heal, it cures most ailments. Unless you prefer that I leave our colleague in this state?

Dark Archive

Cathran's snores end with a snort. The half-elf jerks up and immediately sets to digging a spellbook and writing implements out of her backpack. After a minute or two of writing and doodling, she finally sets down her inkpen.

"I have to drink the beer here more often. Very good for dreams."

Book's contents:
The pages of the repurposed spellbook are covered in astronomical and astrological notations and diagrams as well as long strings of text in Varisian and Elven. There is also a circumscribed twelve-pointed star.

Grand Lodge

A Taldan man with rather unkempt hair peeks at the book over Cathran's shoulder.

"That's... kind of a creepy dream. Made slightly less creepy by the fact those statues were probably constructs."

Knowledge (nature): 6 + 8 = 14
"Not sure I can make sense of the astronomical bits. Is that the Bridge?"

Dark Archive

"You're not one for the tactful approach, are you? Well, ink's dry."

Cathran snaps the book shut and stuffs it and the writing tools back into her backpack.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be in the archives."
