Advice on multiple animal companions.

Advice

My son has asked me to build a character for him. He had specific instructions. He wanted to fight with two swords and have a bear (aaand a tiger, oh, and a wolf) for a pet. So at first I thought about the TWF Ranger which seemed pretty easy, but then with the added menagerie of animals, I started looking at Pack Master Hunter. It seems like Boon Companion is going to be my friend for this build, but what I'm most curious about is what levels to build the ACs at. For those with experience in this, is it better to have all the ACs at an equal levels, or to have one more powerful than the rest?

you could use a variation of the old animal friendship spell from 3.0
if that would be allowed by the DM

one could be his true animal companion that gets better as he levels and the others can be friends via the spell. its a 1st level spell so he wouldn't be able to have a wolf, bear and tiger at the same time because of hit dice. however its a possibility. and he can start with a wolf which is a pretty standard starting companion.

Can you convince him to only have one animal companion?

If your son is new to Pathfinder running so many characters can be time consuming. If you are playing with others (not just you and your son) it is probably a bad idea to let him handle so many characters.

Outside of that I think you will find that that it is very difficult to build a character with so many animal companions. Especiallhy one that also wants to two weapon fight.

I want to see what people can come up with, but this seems like something that isn't going to work well.
