I'm going to guess that they purchased extra accounts to sell to guildmates and that when people actually experienced this game nobody was interested in paying them what they wanted for the accounts so they were forced to sell outside the guild.

Should have gotten Star Citizen ships. I've made more than 1000$ more than I put into it back already and the ship I still have is worth 260$ or more on the Grey Market. I'll be content to get my initial investment back out of PFO.
