Fighting Swashbuckler Style

Advice

Anyone know how swinging by ropes works in PF. Ya know like across chasms and stuff. How about fighting from a rope?

Just want to know some of the mechanics before I commit to running a Swashbuckler.

What looks good on film isn't so good in game unless the GM is into it too.

1. I would assume it's just a standard or move to grasp and hold on to the rope(climb check) then just a move action to swing. I guess the GM could involve some Accuracy with an Acrobatics check, or landing safely/jumping properly off of the rope on the other side.

2. Fighting from a Rope is essentially the same as Climbing a Wall while fighting, except that using a Rope would either give you a pretty tight grip on your Climb check, I think a +8 or +10? Arg, I cannot remember for the life of me. Just make sure they don't cut that rope...

I hope this helps!
