do monks / brawlers need to take two weapon fighting to qualify to feats?

Rules Questions

I've been trying to use Google to find out but i cant seem to find anything. reason I'm curious is the shield champion brawler gets shield master as a bonus feat but they still have to qualify for it which requires two weapon fighting. just curious if i still have to take a feat that i effectively already have and am unlikely to actually use?

Yes, you still need the feat.

Edit: I'm wrong for brawlers. They actually get the feat temporarily when flurrying. Monks do not. So much for SKR's "similar things should work similarly" principle.

Why is this in the occult playtest forum?

The difference is justified here because getting temporary feats is the Brawler's schtick. In addition, they can use Martial Flexibility mid-flurry (the swift and free versions) to get feats that care about TWF.

The OP probably just saw "Rules". Flagged to be moved.
