It looks to me like eidolons use the "summon" method of getting a critter here from another plane. So that should work in the Gloomspires.
This was my understanding and my intention when I wrote it.

Also held up with subsequent runs to the location lore-wise, it seems.

Big thanks to all, guys.

Doing the math....

B1 Falling idols. RAW

There are 36 niches, the top 18 are fused to the wall. The last 15 feet then has 1/3 (of 36 idols) missing that's 12. Hence there's only 6 idols left for the trap.

Two possible triggers a PC touches one (a 1 in 3 or 6/18 chance). This upsets several idols - would that be half or 1d4 +2 (3-6)? Second trigger is the polyps filaments touched twice in 10 minutes also 1d4+2.

If triggered a second time the v remaining idols fall trap over.

Running in a week, please clarify.

I'd recommend 1d4+2 of the idols.

Apologies for the lack of clarity. I hope you and your players have a good time!

** Spoiler Alert ** Not sure how to hide the text.

I ran this last Friday at a Con.

Party was:
Barbarian / Samari 2
Bard 1
Monk 1
Fighter / Monk 2
Brawler 4
Alchemist 1

We all enjoyed some rum with VC Calistro. Some players wished we had our own bottle to pass around too. Ha, Ha. VC handed graph paper to the Bard, being a first time pathfinder, she passed it on to the monk, who mapped the area.

Took the folding boat to the Gloomspire. Climbed the stairs to the top. I used the Horror Cards on gm prep site adding 3 to the empty boxes, one clostrophobic, an agoraphobia, and a card for the hunger trap in B2.

The party Fighter/Monk scouted around to the right and then straight ahead, as he was returning to the party he failed a stealth check and Initiative began. It took a few rounds but they dispatched the Kuru. Then made knowledge checks. Searched camp and found Surrogate, knowledge check it, and determine to kill it too in case it's aiding other Kuru in area.

The PC'S moved to the entrance, They dropped a branch light down to determine distance 40 ft. They tied a knotted rope to a tree and lowered it down the hole. The second party member down the rope triggered the trap, I rolled and the 6 statues fell, 2 target each PC, the last 2 just fell. the brawler was first down took his only damage for scenario. The rest of the party decended without incident.

In B2 the brawler entered first was momentarily spooked by creepy eyes, AS the party searched the room. The hunger save was made , but the fighter/monk fell asleep.

In B3 The Brawler through the branch light in the water, to determine depth; it floated (as a dry branch would), eventually sunk to 3 feet. The table had a good laugh at it floating. 1 leech attacked Brawler (who went in to retrieve the light), and missed. Three attacks later it was dead.
Searching the room they recovered the satchel the brawler wears the sandles. He tried testing them in dry area (running, climbing ) since he wasn't under duress there was no effect.

Intermission, take 10.

In the hall of flesh eaters they raced in and dispatched the festrogs and half the Ghouls. The last two ghouls attacked finally in 2nd round but my dice weren't rolling in there favor, I think maybe two attacks dealt any damage. Again, after the fight the PC'S made their Knowledge checks.

With the creatures dispatched, the brawler started digging out the collapsed hall, with some help, and sometimes cheering from Alchemist.

The Barbarian sat down and had coffee. The Monk 1 worked an hour and finally killed the polyp. Failed Con roll and Monk was fatigued About halfway through the one man attack, 3 PC'S went to listen at door, as GM with the racket in the room they heard nothing, they opened the door looked in and quickly closed the door. Of course Rajhan-Vol, waited patiently for PC's.

The party also discovered the scatches and secret door to stairs leading down and returned - only exploring level 1.

The Brawler Succeed at his Con checks. They convinced him to take a break and help with the last room. I think that battle was also 3 rounds, The festrog missed first attack, but survived to second round where Rajhan-Vol flanked the barbarian, taking an AoO to get there. The festrog was killed before it's second turn, likewise Rajhan-Vol died too.

Finally digging out the treasure and dispatching Baelen. They returned to the Grinning Pixie.

All had fun, thanks for the adventure.
