What are your penalties if you are two weapon fighting with pistols?

Dark Archive

Same as two weapon fighting with any weapons. Pistols are not light weapons so with the two weapon fighting feat the penalties are -4/-4.

EDIT: despite the cool visual of dual wielding pistols, in Pathfinder it is not really practical and wasn't designed to be used as such. Reloading is your largest hurdle since a reload requires a free hand so unless you have a 3rd arm-like appendage (there are ways) you can't reload them both.

Sounds like a good pirate move, for PCs with BAB of 5 or less.
1) fire both pistols at -4 (touch attacks aren't too hard!)
2) drop the pistols and draw cutlass and dagger
3) next round, double attack with cutlass and dagger.

Alternatively, just draw the cutlass and use the pommel of one pistol as a club.

Or go all assassin's creed black flag and carry around a crapton of pistols.

The -4/-4 is probably correct, although several people try to get their GM to allow -2/-2 since pistols aren't explicitly listed as not being light.

But a 3rd appendage is definitely required for reloading or moving the barrels of pepperboxes.
Or take quick draw and use lots of guns.

Or you can get Quick Draw and draw pistols as free action.
Then get Gun Twirling to holster pistol as free action.
...
PROFIT

Your GM can of course limit amount of free actions per round, but RAW it works.

Correct. They are instead explicitly listed as being one-handed.
