What do you, or your kids plan to be for Halloween, any epic plans?

Just what the thread says, with it being on a friday and a whole weekend of spooky I also realize epic plans might be afoot, brag about it all here:)

my kids have specific home brew costumes a Catfolk Mummy Queen and a ghost hunter with a sickle.

I will probably keep a bowl of candy by the door and keep it unlocked for once, just in case any kids in the complex come by.

I will be Jack Sparrow, my wife will be Unnamed Female Pirate, and if we can find a pirate costume for the little one, she will be a pirate as well. If not, we will try and find a monkey costume, and she can be Jack the Monkey. If we can't find that, then she's stuck wearing the zebra costume we got for 50¢.

EDIT: And unfortunately, I forgot to put in for Halloween off this year, so I will be heading to work after taking the little one around for her first Halloween. This will be the first year we haven't had a Halloween party in 5 or 6 years. :(

2nd EDIT: Make that 8 years.

Hoping to do an overnight in a supposedly haunted location

we got this neighborhood with lots of packed together well to do Tudors and such where all the professors from the UW live:)

as far as costumes my kids refuse to use store bought body suit with a mask type costumes, my daughter scours Vinnies for stuff all year and puts it all together, the key is she is never the same thing each year, our son is now going that route this year he found a Simon Belmont like hat this cool little vest and a wicked looking toy sickle, they're going to look awesome!
i shall be either a Werewolf or Lumberjack, depending if have a flannel shirt clean and if i let my beard grow out or a Cliche villain if i do shave and keep the evil looking goatee (because all goatees are evil looking mwahahahahahahahaha!)

Trick-or-treating with my 2-year old.

She's gonna be my owl familiar.

I will be Leatherface and my wife is going as Wednesday Addams. She wanted me to be Pugsley but I refused - besides, that is an odd couples costume because of the incest implications. I am pretty sure that Leatherface and Wednesday Addams would have hung out and went on adventures together.

with two job applications due the 31st, and an important lecture I have to give next week, probably not much

After that chaos is settled, might due a late horror marathon. Wish some of my friends lived near me, otherwise I would probably try to do the local haunted corn maze.

I had a really sweet viking costume ready for this year but now due to illness I'm not going to be able to make the halloween party this weekend. Shelving it until next year :/

Silver Crusade
