I'm going into a level 4 campaign, although this question doesn't have to be restricted to level 4.
What are some fun multiclassing options to make our Synthesist Summoner more interesting in combat? I don't really want to do the basic natural attacking Synthesis.
For example, my plan until i get some better ideas(even though I'm pretty pumped for this one) is Synthesis 1/Musket Master Gunslinger 3, with ability increase Dex, and natural armor.

Synthesist works best as a primary class, with dips in other classes, imo. Since your Eidolon, and thus much of your physical capabilities, only advances with Synthesist levels, you will likely find yourself behind full Gunslingers. Your Eidolon's Dex (and thus your Dex when it is out) won't improve much unless you invest heavily in Synthesist levels, while you will be behind in Gunslinger abilities.

the real issue with not being primarily a summoner is that your meat suit will have lower temp hp and thus is you put low physical stats your easier to remove from a fight if your other classes are physical based.
