I am sure that is accurate enough.

I am sure at this point GW knows whether they plan to delay EE or not. At the very least they know if it is on the table.

Any update for us to discuss on this?

I asked Ryan about this in-game. He declined to make a statement about whether or not they were on schedule, but he did make a general statement, and I hope I reproduce it accurately enough not to cause any confusion.

They met late last week and determined that all of the "must fix" code changes were complete. Server stability issues are the only real concern they have right now. They'll meet early next week to go over where they are and make a "go/no-go" decision.

My sincere apologies to Ryan if I've misrepresented any of that.

I would only add one thing: He said that server capacity is the main thing they are looking at for the go-no-go decision.

I think he meant that as something slightly different from server stability and that they felt they had gotten the big server stability bugs. But I wouldn't quote me on that.

I can see them gathering Monday morning for a big meeting to make the go/no decision. Bet we get a blog monday night or Tuesday letting us know.

GW is all about those "AT THE BUZZER" delays.

Just to spite everyone who's betting on a Wednesday/Thursday reveal, they might announce the decision this afternoon.

They will be back-dating XP so that you don't have to login the first day to get started. I believe they're going to set it up so that every Character that gets created in the first week or two will get the same XP.

I'm slacking, though... I used to provide links for verification, but I'm getting lazy.

I swear, the last month has been a rougher wait than the two and a half years before it...

EE when it happens will be amusing.

A lot of the more experienced players from Alpha seem happy to either let EE get rolling before doing too much and possibly even hoard XP until they see how things shape up or simply did not pay to play for the first month.

Meanwhile there will be a whole bunch of new players who have avoided Alpha and have absolutely no idea what they are doing who will be complaining in chat about how "stupid and confusing" the game is.

So week one will be a lot less of the experienced players around to help out combined with a whole batch of noobs with no idea, in game for the very first time - sounds like fun :P

There will be knowledgeable players on hand to help new people.
