Did anyone compile a few new haunts? If not, there is still a a few hours in which a few of us could write one or two and let someone who hasn't reached the submission limit... well, submit.

Sent #3.

I'm off to bed now--enjoy the fireworks and happy New Year!

I wondered about turning the concept on its head, and making some beneficial spooks, but not sure what to call them.

Sent in my very first Wayfinder submission! Only one article, but hopefully it's neat enough. ;D

Guardian spirits, perhaps.

Spiritual echoes?

Sending in my article now; only had time for one, and sadly did not get a monster done. But alas, we will see!

Huh? When it managed to grow so big? At least I have excuse to make the description short.

Ok, wolf lord sent. Time to see if I can finish the feats article.

Well we have five and a half hours. Is that enough to have maybe three of us write one a piece?

Incidentally, how does it work when submitting art? Is that something you can volunteer for, or what?

From what I understand it works like this: When they have actual articles and know what they need for the issue, Tim and Paris contact people that volunteered (and showed portfolio or worked with Wayfinder in the past) assigning individual tasks between them.

I wonder if I missed anything in my submission this time...

A bit less than 70 words to fit into feats and rogue talents article.

60 words actually. About one rogue talent.

Finished and sent. Time to sleep, I think.

To all those interested in the combined Magic Item article:

I've sent the article in on time! ...mostly thanks to the fact that I live on the east coast, but hey it still counts.

The article ended up being 1526 words long, featuring 8 magic items from 6 different writers!
I had to make a lot of edits, and rewrite some stuff, to make everything fit, and I had to cut a few submissions (including one of my own), but everyone who submitted got at least one of their items included!

It was fun working on this with all of you, after all what is Wayfinder for other then getting the community to work together on one big project.

Now we must all wait and see if it actually gets accepted for print...

HAPPY NEW YEARS to all us Wayfinders!

Submission sent with an hour to spare! *wipes brow*

Whew! Also got my first Wayfinder submission in under the wire- it was a blast to write!

Hopefully my Weal or Woe about two of the Captains of Caliphas makes it in!

Wow nice finish all. Welcome to Yasumoto & MechaPoet and all the other first time submitters. Well done.

Thanks Canada Guy, that was wonderful how you pulled it altogether.

Thanks to everyone for sending in your submissions.

Final tally as of 12:00 AM was 131 submitted articles.

Right up there with Cheliax last year!

We need to put the lid on #12 this weekend, but then we will start reading through these.

Final Article Tally:

20 Bestiary
17 Class
13 Crunch (5 Haunts)
12 Fiction
17 Fluff (8 Gazetteers)
2 Games
22 Magic Item
5 Poem/Song
1 Side Trek Adventure
11 Side Trek Seeds
12 Weal or Woe

Of these 131 submissions, about 45 or so will make it to fill our 76-page issue.

Best of luck to you all!

Are we there yet? *drumsfingers*
Really looking forward to this one!

Thanks Canada Guy for pulling this together. Wow 1526 words!

So, what is the next theme?

Numeria?

Personally, I'm rooting for an interplanetary theme. ;D

Exploring the Tapestry WOULD be interesting... but then I would have to figure out which creatures are public domain, which are owned by whoever makes CoC and which belong to paizo.

River Kingdoms, please!

+1

Let's go for a compromise, a Numerian warlord building his own realm in River Kingdoms!

That way we could introduce a tech-based buildings for kingdom/city rules.

Numeria will not happen for a while. We need to let that one sit on the shelves, and let it age and develop more, as opposed to hitting it so soon after the AP. We tried a follow up with Osirion to the Mask of the Mummy AP, and....well, it didn't work out as well as we hoped. Many people complained that they were burned out on the Egyptian theme.

We thought about this today, and Paris and I came to a decision on the theme for Wayfinder #14.....

Hint:
RAAAAAWR!

Barbarians? Orcs? Taldoran Taldan decadent orgies?

Realm of the Mammoth Lords? Would fit barbarian, orcs; decadent orgies... not so much.

Owlbears!

Isle of Dread!

Wait, where are the dinos in Golarion, again?

Grand Lodge

The other hint that was left on FB was "It'll always be something that Paizo has developed pretty fully." So... gnomes and Runelords? OMG, the Runelords are back. And they're gnomes!!!

Mike Welham?

That's a tough one. Better start thinking about something right away.

Sovereign Court PaizoCon Founder, Wayfinder Editor-in-Chief

For this one...think differently for the theme. For #7, we did something non-regional. We were thinking the same for #14. This theme supports a concept, and several Paizo products....

James Jacobs! Dragons! Dungeons! Feral gnomes!
I got nothing.

Sczarni RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

DINOSAURS!? Megafauna...

Magical beasts?

I'm guessing Dragons of Golarion.

If it supports several books by Paizo, dragons are out imo.

Kittens, it must be kittens. With the giant simple template. They rule the interwebs or so I've been told.

Dark Archive

Mammoth Lords?

I tried that bait but Tim didn't bite.

Maybe it's an audio book on monsters revisited.

Ruyan.

Filigree?

Finally!! I have been waiting for the Valentines Day special of WF for soooo long!

OK now I'd have to say...Dwarves denied alcoholic beverages? That sounds like something they would say in response:

"Sorry Lunkhead Stonemuncher, you and your dwarven buddies are cut off..."
"RAAAAAWR!"

Rage?
