Which online campaigns do you follow?

Hello all,

As nearly everyone, I enjoy to play some online campaigns. I even started to GMing one.

What I enjoy too, is reading other people's adventures, with good roleplaying by players and GM alike.

So here are my favorires threads to follow, and I hope you might add yours:

DM Jelani Carrion Crown I love the cast of characters (my favorites being Tibideau and B'yekla, with Dantrian not too far) , and Jelani's storytelling. The best CC thread in my opinion.

The Walking Dead of Golarion Innovative and creative, great cast of characters and great use of backstory. Plus ZOMBIES!

Dragoncat Curse of the Crimson Throne
Recently discovered this one (this week, in fact) and absolutly enjoyed it.

Gimme some feedback on your favorites online campaigns, so I can discover more gems!

Liberty's Edge

I play Anton in Jelanis CC and Polonius in the Walking Dead game. Really enjoying both at the moment.

At the risk of selfless promotion, check out the carrion crown game I'm running. We are nearly up to 7k posts and there have been some fantastic moments. I'm really happy with it and feel confident in saying it's the best cc game on these boards (sorry Jelani lol)

I'm pretty proud of Motteditor's Reign of Winter game. It's another game like Jelani's where I was particularly lucky to land in a group with a really great cast. Very fun and entertaining.

GM Chris' Shackled City is one of the longest running games on the boards. It's so good that I picked up the hardcover edition of the AP and started running it for my local group once a month. This is another one where the game is magically more than the sum of the characters.

Liberty's Edge

I've been dipping in and out of that Shackled City game. The narrative is excellent and you have to give kudos to such a long running game.

Link to my Carrion Crown game by the way.

It's the first one I've run by pbp format so would love some feedback from those more experienced.

What can I say I'm a sucker for the classics

Tis a good group, indeed. Good campaign and the same cast of yahoos since the start...which really helps.

You honor us...but greater than the sum of me?

::Dyrant's eyes narrow, focusing upon Dal Selpher, a face of stink.::

One more game to mention: GM Evilan's Curse of the Crimson Throne.

It's essentially done...the BBEG is dead and just need to figure out who's going to rule. All six books. It helps that the starting 6 players all finished the campaign...a rarity that helped keep things going and consistent. A really enjoyable run.

This is one of only two complete Paizo APs that I know that has been completed via PbP.

Scarab Sages

I follow Shemeska's Story Hour

dot for interest.

Maybe following these will give me an opportunity to figure out how one plays in a PBP.

Who told you that?

Shameless but shy self promotion: here's my own game, first time trying to GM something. I tried to put unexpected twists on the original history, because a player poofed from the game in the first days

GM Lil" Eschie Crypt of the Everflame

(another player disappeared a few weeks ago, I guess I'm doomed *sighs*)

I gotta say, my favorite is still the only AP to have actually finished on the Paizo boards.

120 days. And it was a /blast/.

Spoiler:
Yes, I was in it. If you're interested, much of the group is now playing through Second Darkness.

Who told you the goal is to finish the AP?

That's why we added Forge of Fury, The Speaker in Dreams, and The Standing Stone to Shackled City!

We refuse to finish!

Just saw this thread actually. Thanks for the promotion of my game Lil Eschie!

I play in/run so many games that I'm not really following any that I'm not directly involved in. Maybe I should...

I've joined a small handful of games but only Celestial Healer's An Ancient Evil is still going strong. Though I'm set to join a new one here in a week or two.

I've tried just following along with games I'm not in but I inevitably lose track or interest somewhere along the way.

Thanks a lot Lil' Eschie.

Faved it before I posted, but still...

Thanks, DM Eschie!

:D

Are you serious? I'm not even sure I am following the games I'm running as close as I should be, sheesh.

If you guys like dark horror, you might want to follow my new solo game. It's the tale of a Nidalese agent of the Umbral Court and his rise to power. We're mostly playing on Roll20, and then transcribing it over with a little editing. It reads like a novella. Figure I'd share it in case people might enjoy.

DM lil" Eschie, thanks for the good feedback :)

For what it's worth I think most games have a player drop out at least once, and probably half the games i've played have ground to a halt due to vanishing GM, tis the way of online play it seems!

Anyway, all the best with your campaigns =D

New campaign I'm following:
GM Zed Shattered Star

I'm reading Moddedittor Reign of Winter too, when I can. Really good team, that mage (Malavarius) is hilarious, I like the tension and backstory behind Hektir and Quinn, and Tsin is strong and intriguing, to say the least.

A shameless bit of promotion here:

For those of you looking for an adventure on the world of Oerth, I'd recommend KC's Age of Worms. BY FAR one of the most fun campaigns I've ever played in.

*psst* I'm Carina. :)

Spoiler:
Also Zalamandra for a while.
