Pathfinder Society North Las Vegas

The Exchange 3/5

I am currently in the North Las Vegas area and will be in the area for the next week to two weeks. In that time I was hoping to find and play in a couple of Pathfinder Society games.

If there are any Pathfinder Society groups in the Las Vegas, North Las Vegas area that are looking for new members to join, I would be very much appreciative if you were to contact me. I had previously sent an email to the Venture-Lieutenant of the area, however I have yet to receive a reply to the email that was sent.

As I've said, I will be in the area for the next week to two weeks before I return to California and rejoin my group there. However, until I find a stable job, I will be moving between California and Nevada and was hoping that I would be able to find a Pathfinder Society group in the Las Vegas area so I wouldn't be spending two weeks of downtime from Pathfinder Society.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

The only public sessions I know of in Vegas are in the Las Vegas area, rather than in North Las Vegas, at a game store named Little Shop of Magic, on Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm.

We do have a Warhorn site, although it isn't always used, nor does everyone know to sign up yet, as Las Vegas Pathfinder Society. I am at work, so I don't have access to Warhorn to post the link, sorry.

Little Shop's web site is at Little Shop of Magic

There are a few regular GMs, although a couple of us have gone missing recently, due to either moving (Michael) or lack of ride/work schedule (me).

It tends toward low-mid level games, usually a 1-5 and a 3-7 being run in the time slot.

Give me a PM or email (kinevon at gmail dot com) and I will see if I can hook you up when you are in the area.

Marty

Thank you for the link. I'll be dropping be the Little Shop of Magic and a couple other game shops on Friday to see what's around. I've also sent you a pm.

Most of my characters are in the low-mid level with the highest being at 4th, with a couple of 3rds (or 2nds) and a handful of 1st level characters as well.

Grand Lodge 2/5

I don't really have any further questions, but I'm going to comment here so that I can find the thread again. I'll be moving to Vegas some time before the end of the year, and I'm definitely interested in finding a place to play PFS. I'm even willing to GM once in a while.

The Exchange 3/5

I stopped by the Little Shop of Magic today and was told that a PFS group hasn't been scheduled to play for about two months (mainly because of people's own schedules and a couple other problems I was told about.) Though it did seem like they wanted a Pathfinder group back in the store again.

Oh well. I did leave my email so if there is any Pathfinder or Pathfinder Society group that starts up then my information is there to make it a bit easier to get in contact with me.

Ouch. I know that I haven't been able to get there for a while, and I know that John cancelled his last scheduled game that I know of there due to no one registering, but I thought it was still going on.

My Issues:
I work Saturday through Wednesday, now, from 5 pm to 1:30 am, and the game at Little Shop on Sundays was at 11 am, just about the middle of my personal version of night. I don't have a vehicle of my own, now, and my personal lift to the shop has been unavailable for a while, and LV public transit would take about 90 minutes to get there, not to mention leaving there and having to take the bus to work afterwards...

I have also been trying to start a game on my day off, as a home game for RotRL, but am having problems getting people to respond.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Update: I am trying to start up PFS at Little Shop on Saturday evenings, now that my schedule has changed so that Friday & Saturday are my weekend.

I am waiting for my game to show up on their calendar, or I get an email saying they don't have room, one or the other.

Current plan: 4 pm start, starting with running the Silverhex Chronicles. Sign-up on the Las Vegas PFS warhorn site.

The Exchange 3/5

I don't know when I'll be back in Vegas, though it is likely that it will be soon, within a week or two.

If you could send me a link to the Las Vegas PFS warhorn, then I'd have no qualms about signing up.

I do hope that you'll be able to get it scheduled and setup, I'm sure that the Saturday slot would be a lot easier for people to attend. I may miss a few games though due to my constant moving between California and Nevada, though I will attend when I am able to. Hopefully I can get a few of my 1st Level characters leveled up.

Hey guys.

My name is Ethan and I am the new Las Vegas Venture Captain. I will be setting up weekly games and have already begun to set up an email tree and of course, Warhorn.

It is basically good to go, we just haven't used it as much as we have.

Send me an email with contact information and I will add you to the list of those who get emails. The emails will contain scheduled games with links to warhorn games.

Email: ethan.cline@pathfindersociety.net

Happy Gaming!

The Exchange 3/5

I won't be in Vegas until next week on the 21st. I will be able to make it to the scheduled game on the 22nd at the Little Shop of Magic.

I'll send an email either tomorrow or this Friday when I have a moment of free time. This will also contain my own personal schedule, as I usually don't know until last moment when I will be in town. It's usually the last two weeks of a month (sometimes it's longer and sometimes it shorter). This schedule would be permanent until I find a job in either Nevada or California.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Okay, I have a confirmed table for Saturdays at Little Shop of Magic, and have next Saturday's game on the schedule for sign-ups. I believe the link Ethan posted, Las Vegas PFS Warhorn is the site I am using for my game at Little Shop.

I have not sent out an email to the Las Vegas PFS gamers list I have for this game session, yet.

The Exchange 3/5

As I said, I'll be arriving in Vegas on the 21st and I'll be able to make the game on the 22nd. I believe I've registered on the Warhorn for it. I've got a 1st Lvl character that I want to get some xp on.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Well, it was nice meeting you, hopefully next time we'll have enough people for a legal table.

Depending on when I receive the flip-mats from Paizo, I am planning on running the Emerald Spire stuff locally.

The Exchange 3/5

Likewise. Either way, it was still enjoyable to kill some time, even if the plans fell through and we ended up playing a board game instead.

If there are plans for another meeting this coming Saturday, I'll try to make it. I don't know yet if I'll be heading back to California on Saturday or Sunday though.

Grand Lodge 2/5

Ooh, there has been a flurry of activity here while I was throwing stuff in boxes and driving across the country. I will check out the Warhorn site and try to make it to some events soon.

I'll try to get something posted on the Warhorn site soon, but I don't think I can easily do it from work, since it is blocked...

Besides, I need to try and figure out what game to post/run.

The Exchange 3/5

Sadly, if there is something scheduled for this Saturday, I wouldn't be able to make it. I found out today that that is when I'll be leaving for California. I will be returning to Nevada though on Dec 26.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Well, the game on Saturday, Nov. 29th, went off, wound up with 7 players.

Ran them through Emerald Spire 1: The Tower Ruins.
Mostly success, in part due to the Tiefling Brawler, although there was a PC fatality, the Ezren wizard clone. :(

Next week, on Saturday, Dec. 6th, I am planning on running the 2nd level of Emerald Spire, The Cellars.

Start time: 4 pm PST, location: Little Shop of Magic, sign-up: via PFS Las Vegas's Warhorn.

Grand Lodge 2/5

Do you expect the same players will want to come back and continue with the same characters? I would love to join you next Saturday, but I don't want to throw a monkey wrench in anyone's continuity.

Let's see:

7 players, last time.
One dead PC.

Next time:
New PC for that player, if he comes back.
One of the other players won't be able to make it, so the other one, who was playing a "related" PC, will be playing a different PC. Which means that the heavy hitter won't be there, this time...

Not sure about the others, but I don't think it should cause any difficulties.

If you can, to be sure of reserving a seat, sign up on the Warhorn site. I think the link is around here, somewhere. I can't access it from this PC, as the filters here block Warhorn. And the Archives of Nethys, but not d20PFsrd.com.

I'm signed up. I have other level 1-3 characters other than the barbarian if we have an excess up run up and punch the enemy in the face type characters.

Geoff,

Hope you enjoyed the game.

Unfortunately, the email you used for the Las Vegas warhorn site is bouncing, so, just as an FYI:
Saturday, the 13th, starting around 4 m, but with openings every hour or so, I am planning on running the Silverhex Chronicles.
Sunday, the 14th, another local GM, John G, is planning on running the module segment, the Blood Vow Lair (1-3) from the Dragon's Demand module, from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Both are posted on the Las Vegas PFS Warhorn site.

UPdate: I found the other email you put on the sign-in sheet for the game on Saturday, so I forwarded the emails to you.
