What's after S&S?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Predictions? Guesses? Wishlist?

Personally I'd like to see Serpent's Skull or Jade Regent with Curse of the Crimson Throne a close third.

I haven't played the three adventure path's above, so they may be terrible, or at least very hard to adapt, for a card game set.

What Adventure Path would you like to see turned into a card game set?

Which Adventure Paths would be best suited for a card game set?

Wrath of the Righteous has already been announced for February 2015. But feel free to guess what comes after that.

OH! I missed that.

I was hoping they'd go with something older, but WotR is totally cool. It is in my top five hopefuls.

Okay, so who wants to speculate what's after that?

Grand Lodge

My prediction is going to be either Iron Gods or Giantslayer. Since the organized play is trying to get off the ground, I think they're going to try and start incorporating more of the newer adventure paths, that way it runs parallel, at least half the time, with both the adventure path line and Pathfinder Society story lines.

With that in mind, I think Iron Gods would be the most likely new set after Wrath of the Righteous over Giantslayer, since everything will be published at that point.

Who do you think will see re-prints in WotR? Since we got Valeros, Merisiel, Lem, and Lini in S&S, do you think they will reprint any of those again or totally different ones? If they do reprint different heroes, will they still be 4 from RotRL or from S&S? Fun things to ponder about... :)

Liberty's Edge

Personally, I'd like to see different heroes reprinted, if any.

But I'm sure they'll still have a character option for the 'core' classes (i.e. a "Fighter", a "Rogue", a "Healer", an "Arcane" etc).

I'd like to see them pull some of the characters from the class decks into the main sets - although I don't know if that counts as a "reprint" when they've not been in the main sets yet.

Scarab Sages

This thread reveals that at least two of the "reprints" are going to be Seelah and Kyra.

Awesome, those are 2 I was thinking were guaranteed to be in it, with it being a demonic themed set and Seelah and Kyra being a paladin and cleric, respectively.

Grand Lodge

I have a strong suspicion that Jade Regent will be the Summer 2015 set. It's a perfect way to introduce the Ninja and Samurai.

I wonder if they are going to try and incorporate the whole Mythic feeling too. Have they mentioned anything about more powerful characters and monsters?

Sovereign Court

At a minimum, they are adding d20s for Mythic, but that's all we know. I'm interested to see what they do for babes and boons at Mythic level though.

I'm interested to see what they do for babes as well, haha.

Sovereign Court

Well I'd like to see what they do with banes too, but those babes are important! Especially ones that can fix my auto correct.

If we are talking about mythic babes I'm thinking Zena is a possibility

You’ll gain a new set of cards called companions, which can support your characters in play. Over time, you’ll gain a mythic card, which will allow you to warp the rules of the game and use the first-ever 20-sided die to appear in a Pathfinder Adventure Card Game release

I'd like them to build some smaller adventure decks for use with the basic set likeCrypt of the Everflame, Crown of the Kobold King, etc.
