Hoff's Path - Crafting Everything You Need - Looking for a partner and members

Hoff's Path (CG) is a guild dedicated to crafting and building, hoping to be the economic force of our little world.

We are looking for a partner guild, so that we can be the yin to their yang. We are looking to align with the right partner so that we can focus on crafting, while they focus on adventuring/fighting. We are looking to co-locate in a settlement, and set up a trade post while helping to build the settlement. Of course our partner guild will have 'most favored nation' status (can't beat those prices!) but we are looking for a settlement that wants to work with others, not just war. If your group is looking for a partnership, please message us.

If you personally are more interested in crafting than fighting, come join Hoff's Path! Our focus is on cooperative growth and crafting, so we will need specialists in all areas. Send a message or feel free to Join Hoff's Path

Welcome, Axi and Hoff's Path!

Hello Axi, and welcome to these boards! I'm sure any number of settlements would be happy to have your group join up as a company (we don't really use the term guild here). Crafting will be one of the corner stones of the game; basically a settlement won't have any decent gear without crafting it (unless they either pay someone else for it or resort to banditry). Also, in your alignment "corner" of NG/CG/CN, there is a vast choice of different settlements, and quite a few of these have signaled a strong interest in crafting.

One problem I can see for you concept with the upcoming EE is that settlements will have to chose between either a pure crafting setup (which would mostly be used if the group in question is already primarily focused on crafting) or a "role-focused" setup with only very incomplete crafting facilities (which would basically make a pure crafting group impossible to play well there). You can't have both to complement each other in one settlement. So maybe your best bet is to find an association of several nearby settlements who have all necessary facilities distributed amongst them and form some kind of "inter-settlement trading and crafting consortium". Not sure if that exists, though :-)

Hi Axi. I'm a member of Kabal which is a playfull NG group that has been accused on a few occasions of having a strong chaotic bent to it. While I'm not a spokesperson, I think its safe to say our growing settlement has opportunities for alliance/partnership that could be valuable to you. Our website has some general info on us, as does this thread, and I'll point out your thread to one of our officers.

Nope, not a typo when it comes to describing Kabal.

Greetings Axi!

While your current alignment will in the long run not be compatible with us, we at Canis Castrum have already picked the Crafting Template and aim to become an economic hub with the help of our allies and friends. If you are interested in working with us, even if temporarily until alignment restrictions are added to the game if you do not wish to change, please contact me via PM for further discussion.

You would be welcome in Sunholm (we are NG, so you fall within one step alignment-wise) - we are right next door to Canis Castrum, and I think we would happily house you if you wish to work closely with them towards the goals of economic superiority.

Axi and his group of friends have agreed to join the Nation of Kathalphas, and will reside in Aragon or Freevale as they see fit. Most likely, wherever their services match up best with one settlement being Fighter / Rogue focused and the other being Wizard / Cleric focused.

It is also nice to add a Chaotic Good group to the mix, and I'll be curious to see how they portrait the alignment as crafters ( yeah, I'm a bit of an RPer like that).

So welcome aboard Axi, PM The Goodfellow, he has an Alpha Invite he can send to you so you can start checking out the crafting system by tomorrow, and then more so by next week.

Welcome aboard guys. I still have a few alpha invites if you message me here, with your email, or the email of those you want to be in, I will send them out.

Also, I have been trying to learn the crafting system for a few weeks now and am willing to discuss my current findings once you are able to get into ts.

Message me for alpha invites, and welcome again.

Congratulations to all!

Interesting choice, quite a surprise, really... I would definitely have expected you in either the north-west or the south-east corners. Still, best of luck to you all, chaotic IS what you were looking for, after all :-).

We are happy to be part of the Nation of Kathalphas. I am sure the Nation will keep us busy to start, but it is a good launch pad.

If you wonder how you can be Chaotic Good crafters, you have obviously never seen a truly 'hectic' market, especially like the ones in China... Deals will be made, and services provided.
