Important things first - I have two invites to give out as prizes.

They will be given to the posters of the best two long posts (lets say at least 100 words, but longer is better!) about why Sunholm is the best settlement and/or Kadere is the best forum poster.

These will be judged by popular acclaim tonight (in 8 hours or so) by the collective membership of The Torchbearers. I will announce the winners in-thread and PM the winners for their email address.

You may lie as much or as little as you like. Go.

Kadere is the best forum poster of this ENTIRE PFO forums, because he is in fact the original owner of Matrim Cauthon's wide-brimmed hat! Although, once Lanfear realizes that you let Rand al'Thor sleep with Aviendha, well you will probably be flayed alive. So, in light of that all I have to say is that you shouldn't have become a darkfriend, it really set you down the wrong path, and even after you killed your sister you just sank deeper into despair and madness, but you are still the original owner of Matrim Cauthon's wide-brimmed hat, so in my book, that makes you the best forum poster here.

I've always been impressed with Kadere. He really is a stalwart and inventive star in these forums; a prominent poster without peer. I often skip the forums entirely and just go re-read Kadere's posts without bogging myself down in the silliness of other posters. Some day I expect a collection of his posts will be bound into a handsome leather-bound set of tomes, titled something like, "The Uncanny and Unerring Predictions of Kadere, Seer of Sunholm." I hope to get a copy myself. And don't get me started on Sunholm. That place deserves a coffee-table book that captures its vistas and an economic treatise to record the wily trades of its merchant class. Its inhabitants could fill a Who's Who book of renowned strategists and tacticians, cunning bandits, and wizened wizards. Kadere's portrait would undoubtedly be on the cover of that book.
