Mark me down as a First Worlder, too.

I think I mentioned this upthread or elsewhere, but I could see an AP that does for the First World what Carrion Crown did for Horror- fey themed/focused, and it could be based around Golarion versions of Grimm's Fairy Tales; partially set in Golarion, partially in the First World.

It might be good to wait until the Occult Adventures comes out for that, though. Even though the designers on that didn't choose to really blend their take on the occult with fey, I think it would be a good mix (and really fit into the Victorian take on occultism).


I could see us going back in forth between Golarion and the First World. Going to places like the witch market, a (Alice's)wonderland-like place, a Oz-like place, a classic fairytale realm, a twisted place of eternal twilight, a candyland realm or at least ginger bread house, and much, much, more.

I agree about Wes - seven days to the grave was awesome, as was the lords of darkness.

Erik Mona is another talent MIA, in my opinion. His dungeons are always superb.

Something non-European. An African inspired AP would be especially awesome (the Serpent's Skull AP doesn't really cover that). Something Indian or Chinese based would be neat too. If it does have to be European then I'd want to see a Viking themed one.

PS. A dwarf AP would be nice too. In RPGs in general there's always lots of elves and half-elves but not much love for the dwarves.

- Lovecraftian AP. it has a lot of potential, especially if the AP doesn't asume the PCs to be the same Normal Boring Humanoids like APs tend to do.

Casmaron, please. Keleshite Empire falls apart and everybody politics until the new sultan is found. Could start in Qadira and Taldor, as a result of pressures to start a new Qadira-Taldor war. Eventually, the sultan is found, embroiled in Rovagug cult's attempt to free the destroyer from the Pit of Gormuz.

First World and the Eldest, too.

Here are my suggestions, in no particular order.

1. Dwarven campaign, because every aspect of Dwarves happens to be awesome!

2. First World campaign, because let's just face it folks: you know you love the Fey!

3. A classic campaign where the Orcs of Belzken forge into an army under a dark sorceror and ravage the surrounding nations.

4. Norse-style Mythic campaign set in the Land of the Linnorm Kings, complete with a Bifrost-style bridge that leads to another world, perhaps one that holds some some secret that the villains seek.

5. A campaign featuring the Cult of Razmir would be quite interesting, especially if Razmir has mastered ancient Thassilonian magic and has enslaved legions of Angels and Inevitables to serve his dreams of true godhood.

6. A dark, conspiracy-based occult campaign set in Galt.

7. Nidal, because it is one of the least-explored, but most intriguing, regions on Golarion.

8. Space campaign. I'm in the final stages of creating one for the PBP boards, so material to supplement that would be awesome!

9. An Asian-themed campaign set FULLY in Tian Xia, involving several of the nations, Kami, and a corrupted Imperial Dragon.

10. A Law vs. Chaos campaign involving Inevitables and Proteans, NOT Demons and Devils!

11. A campaign set in Vudra, which I have REALLY been wanting to see Paizo publish ever since I read a certain AP module that had some villains from Vudra and the module, the name of which escapes me, that is set in Vudra.

12. An AP where the antagonists are NOT evil and are, in truth, somewhat sympathetic.

13. An AP involving Sorshen and Xanderghul, just because!

14. Planar campaign.

15. Darklands campaign.

Silver Crusade

Ano interesting campaign, would be one in which Isger breaks away from Cheliax. This need not exactly be a traditional hero based campaign, but rather could be really dark considering the area and it's people's and faiths. Imagine a darkness vs darkness campaign.

I like everything on that list Champion of the blessed except for the orcs one.


Why thank you, Dragon78! I am fond of yours too, since I had a certain fondness for the 'Changeling: the Lost' game a few years back and had quite an intriguing campaign with it years back!


I know they've done Varisia to death, but I'd love to see an AP based in/around/below Kaer Maga. That city just seems so interesting to me and I would love to play an extended campaign there.


I would really love some epic plane hopping, especially exotic planes like air/water and negative energy.

I would also salivate over the opportunity to visit the other worlds in the solar system, or perhaps even stranger places deep in the dark tapestry. Love me some unpronounceable monstrosities.

Anything to do with the underdark, Orv course. The deeper the better.

Couldn't agree more. Actually, I wouldn't mind a Kaer Maga hardcover book, just delving more in depth into the whole city as a mini-campaign setting.

My current guess based on what I see in the release schedule, is a Taldor/Qadira AP. 3 of the 5 original PFS faction Players Companion will have been updated as campaign setting books. This is assuming that we get a Cheliax book in July.

-dwarf and/or elf centric AP: an AP that focuses on these races as a central theme. Everyone starts off with a character of the race that is the focus and possibly

-a multi- group AP, players each make 2 characters. Have two simultaneous stories running. Yes some work on the GM side, but there would be a lot of ground covered, and could be quite dynamic as the groups converge, and split up again. This could work with the race dwarf/elf centric AP or even the one below the plane hopping one. This is good for a multi-part quest type thing - artifact chasing, etc.

-Elemental theme and or plane hopping: A plane hopping AP, to include more elemental themes, fae, shadow plane, inner and out spheres.

Okay. You want to know why no tallies? It's quite difficult figuring things out, including the fact that some people voted multiple times to try and push what they wanted, some people just listed a dozen or more ideas, and on down the line.

I will be listing regions in accordance to the number of votes. With one exception which seeing I did the tallying and thus I'm allowed my prejudice :P here is what we had according to votes, top down.

Please note, some of those may (probably) were repeats. Still, even assuming a third of those were repeat votes, that's still a lot of interest for this region.

While coming up with some outlandish Campaign Traits for an outlandish AP in another thread, I realized that once Occult Adventures comes out, a Curse of the Ivory Mansion/Council of Robber Barons Adventure Path could actually be a pretty cool Adventure Path or pair of Adventure Paths set on Earth in the 1920s . . . with fallout from the Reign of Winter crossover segment. Pathfinder meets Justice, Inc.!

Halflings:
Revolution in Galt/Kingmaker II/Halflings throw off their Cheliaxian shackles: Andoran finances a team of freedom fighters to throw down the Galtan Robes-Pierres and break the daemons behind them.

Players then rebuild the power structure in Galt with Andoran busybodies, Druman theocratic carpetbaggers and Bellflower Network firebrands pushing their own agendas. Allow the players to shape a region to their own ends, but give a majority of the New Galt Republic over to a new halfling nation state.

Elves:
Distant Worlds/Second Wave of Elvish Recolonization: Before Earthfall, most of the elves fled to Sovyrian on Castrovel, however a splinter faction of elves had relocated to one of Liavara's moons: Osoro. Paint the Castrovel Elves as traditional foresty rangers, fighters, mages and druids and the Osoron Elves as alienists (occultist/diabolists), crystal-tech engineers, bio-alchemists and mind mages.

Long ago, the poisonous part of Osoro's atmosphere was much smaller, but between the time of Earthfall and the Castrovel Elves return to Golarion, the toxic vapors from the lowlands suddenly expanded, forcing the Osoron Elves to evacuate from their refuge and denying them access to the portal back to Golarion.

Using a remote controlled Fumediver (i.e. submarine), the Osoron Elves have regained access to the barely functional portal back to Golarion and have sent through The Emissary, a Voyager-ish probe requesting aid, since the toxic soup of Osoro's lowland is expanding again and threaten to push out the last of the breathable atmosphere.

The Emissary aids the players in jaunts across Golarion, Castrovel, Akiton, Triaxus, Verces and Eox searching for the knowledge and materials needed to build a new portal back to Golarion from Osoro. Once the portal is ready, the Osoron Elves return to Golarion, reclaiming their ancestral homeland in Central Garund located in the region between Sargava and the Mana Wastes.

Gnomes:
The Fey Wars spill over from the First World to Golarion. While the players intrigue with the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, they discover the history behind the gnomes' exile from the First World. The players negotiate an armistice between the Fey Courts and Golarion, establishing a feytouched DMZ. Proximity to the First World fey energies in this border region cures the Bleaching, so most gnomes emigrate to this new Gnomeland.

Actually, I've been working on a mini-campaign set in Kaer Maga. I'm thinking levels 1-7 or so, sort of on par with Dragon's Demand. Upon reflection on the issues though, it might end up going as high as level 10. The basic plot isn't finalized as of yet, but it begins with the PCs being hired to find out why a caravan traveling up the Halflight Path was waylaid by an uncharacteristically well-planned raid.

Campaign meta-plot:
Basically, Tomkin Rassi and Abigail van Heusse, the two power brokers in Widdershins, have had it with trading power and one has decided that it's time to eliminate the other. Tomkin has made a deal with one side of the Brothers of the Seal in Oriat, promising them funds for pushing attacks into Widdershins. The people of Widdershins are upset and blaming Abigail van Heusse.

In response, she cuts a deal with the other half of the Brothers of the Seal, promising them aid in unlocking the seal in exchange for holding the line to keep their brethren out of Widdershins. With the help of a powerful, but down on his luck drug-addicted wizard in Tarheel Promenade, she's managed to locate an artifact that's half of the key to unlocking the seal and had it transported to Kaer Maga.

En route to Kaer Maga, the caravan transporting the artifact was attacked while traveling the Halflight Path. The artifact wasn't public knowledge, but the Duskwardens are concerned about such a massive attack in a public area and hire the PCs to investigate. The ensuing intrigue should take them all across the city as they unravel the plot and try to find the culprit before Widdershins erupts into civil war and/or someone opens the Seal.

Thus far, I've managed to put together a basic plot outline and have redrafted most of City of Strangers into a basic player's guide with a few pages of into to Kaer Maga and 12 pages of campaign traits based on the fluff from the campaign setting book. Now, it's time to start thinking about how the NPCs are working exactly and to lay out some basic issues that the PCs will be facing!

Lantern Lodge

For my four choices, I would like to see:

1. An Arcadia AP. Either Seven Cities of Gold (ancient Azlanti colonies or a Mound Builder archetype) or the Spirit World. Native American folklore so rich and untapped. Each book could have a mini-campaign feel.
Exploration, voyageurs trading, and raccoon-people PCs.

2. Distant Worlds. An Dark Tapestry invasion of Golarion foretold by the Doomsday Clocks. The PC group must travel to different planets to stop the invasion.

3. Multiplanar/Planescape AP. Travel to distant planes. For a different feel than the 'stop the bad guy from ruining everything' plot; why not a treasure hunt. Acquire the missing pieces of an artifact to become new gods. There will be competition.

4. Shadow World AP. A dark campaign where the kytons attempt to bring the Shadow World into the Material Plane. Go back and forth between these two worlds. DKeep your heart pure; lest you become a kyton. I got this idea from Kingdom Hearts.


I'd like to see one without any humans.

As in there are zero humans. Anywhere. The same way that there are zero humans in the groups I DM for. There are so many races out there at this point that in one my current games there is a strix, a half-elf, a faun, an elf, an aasimar(half-orc), an aasimar(halfling), and a tiefling. This is a more unusual party sure, but just having two halflings two elves and a dwarf isn't rare either. Reading about how these <ethnic group> of humans is different from these <ethnic group> of humans is getting really old when Golarion is so big and there's so much more interesting stuff going on than what some humans are up to.

That said I would also like to see either halflings start Galting Cheliax or elves reclaiming the Exalted Woods from Razimar.

I have an idea for a mythic AP: the PCs are the resistance fighting against a fiend from another planet, recently released after being imprisoned by the gods. They get a couple of tiers, and at the end of the second adventure they confront the villain. They almost defeat him, but at the last second he opens up a portal in time, and flings them into a future where his evil is law. They must then return to the past, to undo the future that is--

Huh? What's a Genndy Tartakovsky? And what kind of a samurai is named Jack?


Some more experimental paths.

A fungus / plant centric path with the players playing as fungus or plant races.

An under water path with the players playing as an underwater race.

Awakened Animals, Lycanthropes/Therianthropes, Monstrous Humanoids, Aberations, non 'Native' Outsiders, Constructs, Undeads, Fey, etc...

We were just discussing this last night. The paths we would like to see are:

1.) Vudra. It's a culture that hasn't been really focused on yet and has a lot of potential for exploration and adventure.

2.) Tien Xia. Jade Regent spent half it's time just getting there and the characters wouldn't have been native to the area. We need a classic Samurai adventure full of honor, revenge and large scale warfare.

3.) Dwarves. The elves got their spotlight with Second Darkness, and I think the dwarves are ready for an AP that expands their culture, history and makes them interesting again.

4.) Alkenstar. Perhaps a war between Nex & Geb that has Alkenstar PC's trying to save their home from the destruction. Steampunks vs. the Undead.

5.) First World. Something dealing with Gnomes, ancient Fey beasts and legends with a romp through dreams and nightmares. Sort of a Dark Wonderland kind of thing.


With respect to an adventure with no Humans (or other Core Races), I was following a Mummy's Mask PbP that was pretty fun, but unfortunately it died due to loss of GM.

With respect to the First World, Kingmaker seems to touch on it(*); how much GM work is it to expand the First World part of Kingmaker? (Thinking of making it so that to succeed in your part of Golarion, you have to succeed in the corresponding part of the First World.)

(*)I don't have Kingmaker myself, so I don't know how much of this is in the AP and how much was a GM addition in the PbP I am following (but not a player in).

Also, do we have any indication yet as to what is planned after Hell's Rebels, or is this still all under wraps?

What PbP was that? I'd actually love to read it!

It's primarily the sixth book in Kingmaker that has the bulk of the First World material. Fey appear throughout different adventures, but they're primarily forest-related encounters and less... "central" to the story (at least, until the last book). It's not a LOT of GM work to tie in the First World a lot more, but it would be all the GM.

4.) Not sure why "Nex vs Geb" would be necessary for it (outside of being a backgroud event), but otherwise yeah... Steampunk vs anything.

How about an AP where a dragon is the main antagonist?

I know that this might lead to getting a mythical red dragon instead of another dragon kind, I know that dragons aren't that common in Golarion, I know that dragons are often overused... but, still...

- Take a dragon
- Polymorph into a humanoid for disguise
- Have him, or her, look for a shattered artifact across the world. The point is to emphasize on a dragon's obsession for wealth and power.
- Give the dragon minions, such as a die-hard kobold tribe, a half-dragon offspring and even lesser dragons, because the main dragon has the Orb of Dragonkind.
- ???
- PROFIT!


^Go the Shadowrun route with this and have the Dragon also get into politics . . . .
