Well this is a total mess. People should calm down until the FBI gets to the truth. Riots turn your side into the bad guys... mass peaceful protests would have done the job much better.
By and large they WERE peaceful protests, unless you count people violently fleeing tear gas and rubber bullets.
The officer's innocence will be determined by the FBI.
Yes, NOW that there's been a big stink about it raised the Feds will get involved. But they generally don't investigate every incident of police on black crime. (they frankly, don't have the staff its sad to say)
My prayers go out to those who are suffering on both sides right now.
You cannot seriously be trying to equate the two sides on this.

On my more cynical days i wonder if those aren't mutually exclusive. If 50 people in full military gear didn't stop the riot, obviously what we need are 100 people in military gear! More riots= more funding.

I've never seen animals burn businesses or shoot cops, but I grant you, New Hampshire doesn't have as much wildlife as it used to.

Fair enough and i won't dispute that it looks bad. That said the local businesses that took the brunt of the "justice" are also victims that so many feel was ok to attack. And there is NO ambiguity in what happened to them

two dozen patrol vehicles destroyed? I think someone's exaggerating here. These people would have to have LAWS to do that kind of damage. I'd buy half a dozen at best. This is a small town, not nyc.

That is the claim, seen it on many sites. Not hard at all, bricks in windows, baseball bats, guns, fire. They were more damaged seriously than made into tiny shrapnel but still the fact the so many were attacked is a huge issue

Actually, calling it military gear isn't fair.
The geneva convention won't let you use tear gas on enemy troops. Your own citizens is fine though.
