Contact for organizing events in countries without a regional coordinator

Local Play

Hello,
after Paizo announced the organized play program for the card game, i thought about hosting some events at our local FLGS.
But my country (Slovakia, Europe) has no assigned regional coordinator yet.

So who would i have to contact for organizing those events?
Is there like a european coordinator for the unassigned regions?

Page 39 says that if you don't have a Venture-Officer for your region (and you woould make a good addition), contact Mike Brock (mike.brock@paizo.com). I don't know if Mike will give OK for events without beign the Venture-Captain though.

I have a feeling you could drop out of the position though if you didn't like it.

Before we had VO's in our area, we just organized games and then reported them. We had a web site, but there were also signs in the stores which we were having games to attract new players. A couple guys, one a store organizer set it up.

First game was in one store, Silent Tide, with one GM, and I believe played twice a month. Now we have 40 some tables a month in our area.

Point is, just set up games in a public space (game store, library, resturaunt (I don't know what is appropriate in Slovakia). Then report, and then worry about contacting Mike or whomever to appoint venture officers.

Basically, build it first, people will come, then report to the powers that be.

Don't be afraid to have games without anyone other than the GM in charge.

Hope that is helpful.

Don't be afraid to contact other European Venture-Officers as we might be able to offer some assistance or put you in contact with others in your area.

Thank you all for answers. :)
I will wait for september when the S&S base set will hopefully arrive and try and setup a launch event, just to see how much interest will be here for such organized play. Will be only the card game for now, as we have no shop here which sells pathfinder rpg stuff, only boardgames.
