I love the people I play with, but opening that group up to who knows how many people? That would be fantastic! It would be difficult to implement well for anything besides hotseat, but I've played Oblivion products enough to know they could do it if they wanted. Whether it's too much work for them to be worth it is a different question. I'm sure it would pull in a lot of customers.

Usually milking is used when a company is doing whatever they can to get your money (like free video games that charge you a dollar or two to get a new shirt for a character)

Hopefully the promos aren't available for single purchase, but only for things like buying an adventure path bundle, and only the shop promos. So things like Squealy Nord and Ranzak wouldn't be available, but still gives a bonus content incentive to buy a whole AP over the single adventures.
Multiplayer would be amazing. I'll almost definitely get it if it plays well.

It won't be a new experience for almost anyone who played the physical RotR, the cards aren't that unique. It can't be priced even close to being a new experience, because it's not. It's a new take on an existing one.

The sales method you mention (buy the base set, in app purchases for add on decks and adventures) isn't milking anyone. It's the same way the physical product, and it's the only way to do it digitally. A bundle can be offered, but if a bundle is the only option, I see it failing quickly.

The good thing of the digital delay is that you almost forgotten the RotR cards. So it will be a new experience.

regarding pricing, it will may be similar to the real product, what i mean is...

You may buy the base set really cheap, and if your are hooked on, then there are in-app purchases for the adventure decks, character addon deck and promo characters...

That is the best way to milk you :-)

1. When you buy the board game, you just get one, and that suits for as many as 6 players. While we don't know exactly how the digital pricing works, its reasonable to assume that each player has to buy something. If you price it the same, the digital version will be substantially more expensive for anything but solo play.

2. Production costs are much lower. While the design and development for a digital game is higher, due to the programming cost involved, the actual cost to provide product is negligible for digital, since there is no material cost, and it's just distribution licensing. Most consumers realize this and expect a discount on digital because of this (Compare the PDF cost to hardback cost for Pathfinder RPG books.

3. House Rules and Homebrew are almost impossible in digital, unless there is a built-in modding ability (which I seriously doubt). That means anyone who likes making their own cards, such as with Drive-Thru, is SoL if they only have digital. Also, even minor tweaks, like one person playing multiple characters, would likely be unavailable.

4. Many people play games like PACG to get away from their computer screens. Hearthstone is probably a better designed game than the now-defunct WoW TCG, but I don't play it as much, because it's not in the niche I was trying to fill of 'game that I can play not at my computer.'

The third and fourth points are mostly just personal preference, but hopefully the other points somewhat explain the value reasoning for expecting a cheaper digital game.

I expect the digital version will be roughly half the cost of a physical copy, likely with a bundle option to discount it further. The only way I could possibly see it being more is if they allow multi-player on a single game copy, and I don't know how they'd do that outside of hotseat, which is, sadly, mostly extinct, and doesn't even work that well here since you can play on other player's turns.
Other points to consider:

At least for me, the experience of playing a card game or board game is much different than playing a video game/app. I don't get together with people to play an app together.
