How the heck did I not watch this movie sooner? It is amazing. And William Dafoe's performance is amazing. Just amazing. You can see how he had sooo much fun.

The sequel isn't bad either. Not as good as the first, for sure, and Julie Benz "southern" accent is atrocious, but pretty good.

It's been one of my favorites for a while.

"It certainly illustrates the versatility of the word." certainly brings a smile to my face.

And I'll agree the sequel is pretty good, but not as good as the first... I feel that is the way of the movie sequel.

Then you will enjoy the sequel. The way she plays a character who thoroughly enjoys what she is and does is highly entertaining (and gorgeous).

Boondock saints was an instant classic for me. It probably could have been bigger if not for the trench coats and guns scare of the late 90's and early aughts. Also, the director pulled a lot of shenanigans there is a documentary out there about it.
