Half Elf; Cleric of Nethys 1/Universalist Wizard 2 going for Mystic Theurge; Separatist (to gain access to trickery); NN

Half Orc; Inquisitor of Desna; Exploration subdomain; CN

Ifrit; Life Oracle; ---; CN

Human fighter/ranger Neutral Good
Human fighter/sorcerer/dragon disciple Lawful Evil
Gnome bard/assassin Chaotic Evil

I just found out I must really like multi-classing.

Also, I'm beginning to wonder if FancyZergling is an undercover account for one of the Paizo staff. :)

Grand Lodge

Aasimar (Angel) Paladin of Abadar 6/Lore Oracle 1 dual-path Hierophant/Champion

Halfling Bard 8, CN

Half-Orc Bloodrager (Arcane) 1/Fighter (Lore Warden) 1/Inquisitor of Urgathoa (Spellbreaker) 1, N

Paladin is in Wrath of the Righteous, other two are PFS. You wouldn't know it by looking at the names, but the bard is by far the most complicated out of all of those.

Mašaru Kaijitsu: Slayer 3, N

Hargrev Ghontasavos: Warpriest of Aroden 10, LN

Titus Oberigo: Seeker Sage Sorcerer/ Sensei Monk 9/2, CG (deceased)

Nesterin Elven Conjurer, 6, N

Raglum, Human, Cleric of gorum, 2

Azzure Chuk Chuk, Tengu Inquisitor of Desna 1

Dhampir Paladin Lawful Good (Played it as a proof of concept, didn't work out very well)

Tiefling Wizard Neutral

Dwarf Barbarian Chaotic Good

These are the last 3 characters I played in our FR campaigns:

Human [Calishite] Cleric of Tymora, from level 3 to 4 (ongoing campaign), CG
Halfling Paladin of Yondalla, from level 1 to 5, LG
Human Wizard (Abjurer), from level 1 to 11, NG

elven inquistor 6, evangalist 10, human aldori duelist mashup from here, monk 2 fighter 7 (wish I hadn't played a fighter, used to love them, but...yea the power creep is killing them. human anti-paladin of asmodeus 10/assassin 5 (made sense in campaign, kinda worked, was very fun to roleplay) .

Shadow Lodge

Atavisk CN Human:
Ranger (Freebooter) 6/Horizon Walker 3/Viking 2
Dimension Door Shield Basher of Rovagug

Martinus NG Human:
Oracle (Lore) 1/Bard 13
Archer / Buffer Bard

Cyrus LN Dwarf:
Zen Archer 9/Inquisitor 1
Ranged MDK

Human Sorcerer (Sensate) 9/ Harrower 1 - Chaotic Good
Halfling (Jinx) Bard (Court) 1 / Paladin (Divine Hunter) 3 - Lawful Good
Gnome Monk 3 - Lawful Neutral

NE Human Alchemist (Mind chemist)--he died at level 7. We are playing CoT, he was the party face/skill monkey.

NG Human Ranger (Urban Ranger)--she's currently level 7. Also for CoT, she's taken over as skill monkey but is not a good face.

LG Human Fighter (Loremaster)--level 1 ATM. I will be taking Butterfly Sting at level 2 and then Rogue (Knifemaster) levels starting at 3. He is a crit-fishing partner for my husband's scythe-wielding paladin in the local PFS game.

Half-elf Fighter 5/Sorcerer (Marid bloodline) 2/Arcane Archer 5 - Chaotic neutral Calistrian playing through Legacy of Fire
Half-elf Barbarian 13 - Chaotic good, played all the way through Council of Thieves
Elf Wizard 8 - Lawful Good, started Rise of the Runelords before the campaign fizzled

Huh. There's an an interesting trend, here.

Not counting my own submissions, 7 out of the 42 characters listed here so far are fighters. That's 1 in every 6 characters (out of 19 core and base classes, not counting the ACG). Just as interesting, 8 of the 42 characters listed here have no spellcasting capabilities whatsoever.

I feel like this lends credence to the notion that - in practice and in actual play - Pathfinder's "martials" aren't the dull, underwhelming, un-fun characters that certian tabletop subcultures make them out to be on paper.

As for my three most-recent:

human barbarian (titan mauler) 2/sorcerer (draconic bloodline) 2 (going for dragon disciple); CG
human barbarian 3 (with raven familiar from Eldritch Heritage); CG
elven fighter (two-handed weapon spec; elven curve blade) 1/rogue (thug) 2/ witch (gravewalker) 1; LE

Don't even ask me to explain the last one. It had to do with the thug's "frightening" class feature, and the buld hadn't come into it's own yet by the time the campaign wiped due to fast zombies + pre-buffed clerics of Urgathoa.

Human Bard 4 (CN) - Drunk, ether binging lawyer devoted to fighting insurance fraud in all its forms.
Human Witch 8 (LN) - Clueless academic carried far and wide by his research interests.
Human Samurai 14 (LG) - A brash young warrior who has been forced to mature rapidly to deal with the events of the Rise of the Runelords AP.

- Dwarf Inquisitor of Angradd 6/Marshal 1 (LG), Wrath of the Righteous. Intimidating and carries a big axe. Currently at end of book 1.
- Human Monk 13 (LG), Rise of the Runelords. Scribe, high speed and combat maneuver specialist.
- Human Rogue (CG, I think), homebrew campaign. It's been years, I forget the lvl. Anarchist vs royalty, split personality who thinks he's a noble born. Trying to save his poisoned homeland when everyone else has stopped caring.

Of course there have been plenty of other characters, but they're for numerous other RPGs of all genres.

Next PF character is expected to be a half-elf summoner in Shattered Star.

Human Generalist Psion CG 9
Human Aegis LN 11
Human Magus LG 12

Half-Elf (Winter) Witch 4/Ninja 4/Arcane Trickster 2 - CG
(Pitborn) Tiefling Lunar Oracle 2 - CN
Human (Staff) Magus 2/ (Flowing) Monk 4 - LN

The top one is for Jade Regent, the others are PFS characters

Feign: Human Fighter Cad, CN 5
Balwer: Teifling, Inquisitor infiltrator, NG. I played him in an evil campaign which turned out really interesting.
Vergg: Aasimar, Inquisitor/MoMS/Urban Barbarian/Wild Rager N 15. Love this crazy bastard.

CG Half Elf Magus- A crossdresser who focused on disguise, illusion, and cold spells channeled through his rapier. Has a strong theme of duality and blurring lines, except when it comes to doing good.

CG Oracle/Sword Saint- Initially a braggart who was mainly boast and no bite and relied on his high Intimidate skill to win the day. After witnessing the slaughter of two women he tried to protect he slowly learned to quietly believe in his abilities and really master the art of fighting. Haunted by the spirits of his ancestors who constantly talk shit about him.

LE Monk/Druid- A gruff ascetic who believes in bodily perfection and survival of the fittest. Honestly more of a mechanical build than anything else.

Edit: I think all the Fighters are due to the fact that these boards are filled with power-builders who either want/need to handicap themselves and/or need all the feats for some crazy thing they wanted to try.

Asha, NG human(mwangi) Shaman - A minor character created for a one-off kaidan-related mission. A spiritualist, she was sent to help with the haunted shrine, in the hopes that she could commune with the spirits. Doesn't handle pressure well.

Lucille Brysel, TN Half-elf Rogue(spy)/Master Spy - A commoner half-elf who admired the lives of the aristocracy and sought to live such a life herself, through a streak of fraud, forgery and disguises. After finally being arrested and taken into custody, she was offered a position as an intelligence-gathering agent thanks to strings pulled by her human half-brother, who was such an agent himself.

Harinome Hama, CE Kitsune Witch - An orphaned peasant girl obsessed with spirits and the occult, at a young age she sought revenge on her oppressors by seeking a pact with a trickster spirit. Now older, the dark magic she's been bonded to has fueled her impulses, and she's now an unstable psychopath who regularly suggests cruel solutions to the problems she and her companions encounter.

Man, all the good characters I've made are female.

I uhhh... I like fighters...

The 3 characters I played before that were

Feras: Catfolk Fighter(Brawler)/MoMS, CE
Maul Daemos Teifling Unarmed Fighter/Barb/MoMS, CG
Maximillion "Max" Maximus Two Handed Fighter.

Bonus points Zoro Human Two Weapon Warrior, LN

So yeah. Even though I agree with the weaknesses the fighter has I still find them fun to play.

RPG Superstar 2013 Top 32

Dhampir Monk (hungry ghost) 2 / Cleric of Zon-Kuthon 1 (LN)

Human (Frankish) Fighter (armour master) 2 (N)

Human (Mulan) Inquisitor of Tiamat 1 (LE)

The Exchange

human holy vindicator ng
teifling slayer cg
aasimar oracle ng

Qaa Chirlan, a chaotic neutral forlon elven bard who made a living as a school teacher before going mad and taking up a sword and a shamisen to go adventuring. Qaa wasn't right in the head because he had lived for a hundred years watching the stupid children grow up to be stupid adults and then die. His work was thankless and he only derived joy out of the deaths of the former students he didn't like. His build was focused on being the party encyclopedia and buffer. Wasn't much of a fighter, Qaa.

Then there was Son Houzi, a chaotic neutral vanaran martial artist monk/savage barbarian. I was reading Journey to the West at the time. Houzi was the self-appointed leader of a tribe of Vanara who lived in a jungle that was being slashed and burned by a more modern civilization. Houzi, believing that he was his village's only hope, set off into the world in search of a legendary stone city that traveled through the clouds. Little did he know that the elder of his people made the story up to get rid of him. Houzi was kind of an idiot like that.

Then there was Jeremiah Underwood, a neutral human preacher inquisitor. Jeremiah traveled under the guise of a salesman, but he wasn't very good at it. He was secretly an agent of a Norgorber worshiping cult dedicated to keeping secrets of a magical nature. Jeremiah's job was to track down magical artifacts and either destroy or contain them before they could fall into the wrong hands. Jeremiah wasn't a good man, but he did good things, though they were usually a peripheral benefit of his cause.

Sovereign Court

Halfling Urban Druid (6) CG
Nagaji Samurai (Sword Saint) (3) N
Gnome Shaman (Flame) (1) CN

As someone who is the DM 90% of the time I rarely get to be on the wrong side of the screen. So this goes back a bit.

Tasmit, 3rd level Human cleric of Ra and Isis

Prof. Clark Howard Philips, Human archaeologist and now vampire in our homebrew d20 Call of Cthulhu and Vampire: The Masquerade mashup

...Wow. I can only recall two. That tells me I don't get to be a player often enough. At. All.

Dwarven Cleric Lawful Good

Half Elf Dragon Disciple Chaotic Neutral

Half Elf Archer Ranger Neutral

Ionnia - a LG Human Monk/Empyreal Sorcerer

Valakar Ildos - NG 1/2 Elf Theurge / Magister

Oberon Aurelius - LG Paladin/Synthasist

The game I play in uses Gestalt.

Ionnia's Sorcerer spells are "super Ki" by special effect.

Valakar was made to have capability cast every spell in existence.

Oberon Aurelius is near Middle age - he was a fighter who's unit got wiped out, but he survived, and became a Paladin. The Eidolon is an "Angel" that bonds with him.

Last 3 I've actually played...

Jerupe Nethys - N Human Theurge 6 (Playing in Rappan Athuk. I have been deemed too useful to the party to let die.)

Iacobus Higgenstrom - LG Human Bard (Sound Striker) 7 (PFS character, now 8. Sound striker doesn't really matter anymore since I'm waiting for the Design Team to clarify how weird words is actually supposed to work.)

Markas Shortcloak - CG Halfling Cavalier 10 (Also a PFS character, I play him as a "paladin of the Pathfinder Society". Small mounted charging is ridiculous!)

Neutral good human fighter named Ulf Helmsmasher. Suicidally brave, beat a synthesist summoner to death with his bare hands, got swallowed whole by a large construct and then cut his way out of it's stomach.

Chaotic evil human barbarian/two handed fighter named Froth Maw. Favorite character ever. He was basically just a self interested thug. Constantly got to rob people and pick fights.

Chaotic evil orc invulnerable rager named Kurat. 11 int, 26 strength at level 5, only uses claws and teeth and has ferocious action so that he literally fights until he drops dead. So he's basically just a monster.

1. Currently playing (PF): Dragon (wyrmling)*, Monk/Barbarian(Savage & Serene), LE.

2. Spider-eye Goblin, Rogue, CN

3. Don't remember, it's been too long. Might have been a Hobgoblin, Fighter/Barbarian, NE?

*Character actually started as a Tiefling and was "reborn" a Dragon early in the campaign.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16

Human Oracle (Life), Lawful Good
Human Bard (Chelish Diva)/Pathfinder Savant, Neutral Good
Elan Psion (Telepath), Lawful Good

This thread caught me during one of the few periods in my life when I'm not playing a wizard.

Human Transmuter Martial Proficiency Great Sword
Human Alchemist Master Chymist
Dwarven Barbarian

Custom 3.0/3.5: Human Priest (Spontaneous casting Cleric with less HD/BAB and more skills).
Cyberpunk 2020: Afro-asian Fixer.
WEG Star Wars: Twi-lek Privateer.

As for Pathfinder... I haven't actually been a player yet. :/

Elf Magus Hexcrafter L/E

Tiefling Inquisitor/Gunslinger (hell boy) C/G

Human Knight Errant (ronin) , Neutral

Draskar Scherazan - Male lashunta Magus (Black Blade) 6/Guardian 2, CG (homebrew mythic campaign, currently active)

Garoseus Estrovian V - Male human fighter 16, LG (Jade Regent, attained victory)

Xiaomara - Female samsaran wizard (conjurer(teleport subschool)) 10/Magaambyan Arcanist 10, NG (homebrew campaign set in Golarian, attained victory)

Currently a human paladin, lawful good.

Gnome sorcerer, chaotic good.

Human fire and sun cleric, neutral good.

NG Halfling Ranger,
NG Human Barbarian,
NG Goblin Ranger,

Martials aren't necessarily my play style, I've just been playing mostly play-by-posts lately, and all caster slots are snatched immediately.

Grand Lodge

Chaotic Good Lukain Vitteri, Human (Varisian) Magus (Myrmidarch/Bladebound). The GM actually asked me to add the Bladebound archetype because he wanted to play with intelligent weapons. I just wanted to make a Deadly Dealer before Cardcaster was out.

Lawful Neutral Vittore Grimaldi, Human (Cheliax) Fighter/Hellknight. Replaced the aforementioned magus when he died. Big scary guy in big scary armor with a big scary weapon.

Neutral Good Erebos Octavian, Tiefling Magus/Archmage. Wrath of the Righteous character. His alignment could also be "angry good".

Haha I wish! I just like seeing numbers and such!

-Tai Leng, Lawful Neutral Archon Blooded Aasimar thing I made up (Sorcerer/Monk kind of) because he was made using my Freeform Class Selection system. Level 3.

-John Marteau, Angel Blooded Aasimar Paladin 1 (Hospitaler/Warrior of the Holy Light, though I'm not 100% sure on that second one) of Shelyn

-Farrukh Al'Khatel, Lawful Neutral Human Slayer 5

If you'd asked this in a week, I would have had:

-Vahn Axrul, level 13 Lawful Evil Human Vampire Inquisitor of Asmodeus.

Replacing Melchior Rungan, level 12 Neutral Evil JuJu Oracle in my Way of the Wicked campaign. He sucks.

The only thing it suggests is player preference, not balance.

Currently: LG Evangelist of Iomedae (Cleric Archetype one not the new prestige one) Level 13 for RotRL's- mega-party buffer w/ Banner Feat, Bodyguard and Discordant Voice- no one misses ever hehe

Before that: CG Fighter (2Handed Archetype) Upto level 15 or 16 (I forget)- just brutal sword to face in a very epic campaign- one of my most favorite characters ever

Before that: Legend of the 5 Rings RPG 4ed D10 version- Lion Samurai- pretty fun game and decent system (better than PF in some ways but a lot worse in others) - would have considered myself LN- made it to 3rd tier I think (or whatever their level system was called)

Grand Lodge

G.W. Widdershins McLintock
Gnome gunslinger (mysterious stranger) 1 / alchemist (grenadier) 5 LN
Jottun Armbreaker
Gnome barbarian (titan mauler) 9 CN
Skol
Dwarf fighter (unarmed fighter) 2 / monk (terori) 6 LN

Tiefling Winter Oracle, Neutral Evil
Aasimar Sensei Monk, Lawful Good
Human Inquisitor, Neutral Good

These are the three I'm playing at the moment. I was also playing a Human Alchemist but she's been put on hold because the campaign broke down.

LN Dwarf Cleric - Domains Protection(Defense) and Travel(Trade)
CG Halfling Archaeologist Bard
NN Human Fighter

Gathering some stats, FancyZergling?

I usually GM, so I definitely had to think back for these ones. Sadly, most of the characters I've played barely made it past 2-3...

CG Human Samurai/Skald - Currently playing, fingers crossed the game lasts
LN Human Gunslinger/Slayer - Played during ACG playtesting, only lasted a few games
NN Human Alchemist (Vivisectionist) - Serpent's Skull character, put on hold (probably cancelled)
