Please join me in welcoming Tonya Woldridge on her promotion to VC of Ontario. She will be working with Glen Shackleton to share the load and split Ontario into sections for better PFS coverage. She served as VL in England for more than a year and her efforts will be certainly seen in Canada!
Max grats!
All the grats!
Congratulations, and good luck in your new locale!
No rest for the wicked :-p
Congrats, Tonya

Congratulations Tonya.
Looking forward to working with you
Best wishes for your spell as venture-captain of Ontario...
:)
Welcome Tonya, and best wishes for dealing with those unruly Ontario players - especially VC Shackleton. I mean, you're a VC like him so he'll probably allow you to address him by name and not make you bow in his presence... ;)
Look forward to meeting you. Where in Ontario have you relocated to?
Angus
Wow, that's fast work, and a well-deserved appointment!

Probably not. When I met him, he wanted me to bow. When I asked him to show me what he meant, and he demonstrated the bow, I put my beer on his head since it made a good resting spot.

Congrats to my lovely wife and new VC!! I am still not saluting you.
@armac we will be based in North Bay.
Congrats! Out of curiosity, is there much going on in the Windsor area? It's just a quick hop across the border...
Congrats Tonya! Glad to have you on the Ontario team.
Zefig: There doesn't seem to be a lot of PFS happening down in the Windsor area as of right now. There were some stirrings about a possible Windsor VL about a year ago, but I don't believe that ever seriously got off the ground.
Welcome to the Canadian V-O team!
Congratulations, new boss!
Congratulations Tonya. We need more Brits around here (assuming, of course, that you actually ARE a Brit :-))
pauljathome wrote: Congratulations Tonya. We need more Brits around here (assuming, of course, that you actually ARE a Brit :-)) Tonya and Crispy are American. Either that, or they're very good at putting on an accent.
Yep, Americans. We have been expats for 13 of the past 18 years if that helps.
Congrats and good luck in Ontario!

Quote: @armac we will be based in North Bay. Hmmm, about four hours away...and I think nearly the same from Toronto. Hopefully we'll see you here at some point, and if you organize something big up there I'm sure that VC Shackleton will decide he wants to go and force me to drive him there.

Warning to everyone in the province of Ontario, I may be volunteering for an assignment up there and I will be in driving distance of all the major cities of Ontario. Just want to warn you so you are prepared. ;)
Welcome and congrats on your new position!

Congrats Tonya. Allow me to demonstrate how to properly bow... wait what's that on my head? That better not be American beer!

Glen, all the major cities means Dragonmoon could be yours too, while in Ottawa. We could do a time share...
Seriously, let me know if the post goes through and if there's anything I can do to help.

Welcome aboard and good luck running in the great white north!!

Congratulations, well deserved.
Enjoy yourself
Congrats Tonya.
You guys in Canada don't know quite how good a VC you just got. But you will soon. :)

From Ottawa, it is a shorter drive to Indiannapolis than it is to Thunder Bay.
Canada is a wee bit bigger than most of our south of the border neighbours often realize.

Our great loss is your huge gain, Ontario. Tonya is a star. You don't know how lucky you are! Congratulations on the promotion, Tonya. Good luck and have lots of fun.
Congratulations and Welcome!
Congratulations Tonya. Our loss is Canada's gain - still in the Commonwealth though.
