Druid Shamans and Wild Shape

Does a druid archetype such as Lion Shaman get Wild Shape at level 4 and then have the ability modified at level 6 or does it not get it all until level 6?

I believe there has been no official ruling, but the author has stated the intended ruling was that no Wild Shape. I'll try my search fu

Shamans do not get wild shape until level 6 at which point it functions at level-2 except in the case of the shaman's specific animals where it functions at level+2.

I've been trying to qualify for the Run feat

Those prereqs are just so tough.
