Small race for Anti-paladin

Advice

Is there any Pathfinder legal, non 3rd party small race without a Strength penalty? I can think of monkey-goblin off the top of my head. Are there any others?

In Blood of Angels, it says aasimar exist beyond the half-human half-outsider. You can have a half-halfing aasimar that would be a "small" aasimar.

That might work, but when you make a race small don't they automatically take a strength penalty?

Wayangs.

Particularly interesting choice since they have an ability that allows them to be treated as undead for the purposes of positive/negative energy for 1 minute 1/day. As in, you could heal yourself with your touch of corruption.

Small (0 RP): Small races gain a +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks. Small races have a space of 5 feet by 5 feet and a reach of 5 feet.

Tiny (4 RP): Prerequisites: Aberration, construct, dragon, fey, outsider (native), or plant type; Benefit: Tiny creatures gain a +2 size bonus to Dexterity and a –2 size penalty to Strength. Tiny races gain a +2 size bonus to their AC, a +2 size bonus on attack rolls, a –2 penalty on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and a +8 size bonus on Stealth checks. Tiny characters take up a space of 2-1/2 feet by 2-1/2 feet, so up to four of these characters can fit into a single square. Tiny races typically have a natural reach of 0 feet, meaning they can't reach into adjacent squares. They must enter an opponent's square to attack it in melee. This provokes an attack of opportunity from the opponent. Since they have no natural reach, they do not threaten the squares around them. Other creatures can move through those squares without provoking attacks of opportunity. Tiny creatures typically cannot flank an enemy.

According to the race builder, being small does not inherently effect your Str stat. Tiny yes, small no.

Wayang doesn't.

Wayang does sound like a good idea! Thanks guys.

There's also the Small But Deadly feat. Works well with any race but particularly good with Kobolds.

Another option is going Ranged or Finesse.

Scarab Sages

Halflings work surprisingly well thanks to Risky Striker.
Gnomes have automatic access to Arcane Strike, that helps martial builds too.
Griplli are interesting due to agile tongue allowing you to use touch of corruption at reach.
Wayangs, as mentioned don't have a STR penalty.

I've always just used Dervish Dance with my kobolds, but that small but deadly is interesting, so is the Grippli tongue. Hmmm..now I have to think.

One of the alternate features for Tiefling (replacing their SLA; the one you roll on d%) is to be small rather than medium. You could even pick a variant heritage that gives a bonus to Str (demon, oni, or qlippoth) and be a small Tiefling with a +2 to Str. Hell, if you combine that with a non-human stock, you could have a Halfling-born tiefling with the "one size smaller" variant ability and a Str-bonus variant heritage and the -2 Str for Tiny would cancel out with the +2 for variant and leave you with a Tiny Tiefling with neither bonus nor penalty from Str, but +2 to attack and AC and +8 Stealth. Sure, you'd need a reach weapon just to attack adjacent, but you'd be hilarious doing so cause you'd hit pretty hard for something so small and be nearly impossible to hit to boot. Mind you, you'd be easy to grapple cause they could just sort of pick you up by the scruff, but that's funny in its own way.

Lol, cute idea Kazaan, but this particular character will be a bit more serious. I run my kobold for the lulz :)

Hmm, I believe the complete list would be...

Aasimar (descended from small humanoids, as mentioned in Blood of Angels)
Gathlain
Monkey Goblins
Skinwalkers (descended from small humanoids, as mentioned in Blood of the Moon)
Tieflings (descended from small humanoids, as mentioned in Blood of Fiends)
Wayangs
Wyrwood

Might be forgetting something, though...

I'm going to check out the Gathlain. I don't think I've looked at that race before.

Silver Crusade

though halflings have a strength penelty, it can be bought up easily.
There's also a good backstory for it, they follow Thaimar Gixx, the silent blade CE halfing god of greed, opportunity and thievery, and make him dex based, maybe multiclassing into rogue for that sneak attack bonus.
