This is probably answered already somewhere, so I apologize in advance, but will loot always be automatic in PvE? If not, what will it resemble? A click and drag system such as Darkfall? Or more of a simple bag system such as World of Warcraft?
PvE looting will continue to be automatic. We're planning on getting in notifications when you've looted something. Making looting automatic for PvE was the best way we could determine to fairly distribute PvE loot.
Will PvP looting work the same way?
PvP looting will be a free-for-all* where you have to click the corpse, spend a few seconds opening the corpse, and interact with a loot window. Being attacked forces the window closed (or interrupts the opening). That makes it possible for friends of the deceased to protect his or her inventory. Auto-looting PvP targets is probably also not desirable for the winner in a lot of situations; PvE targets will rarely have a lot of heavy stuff, but PvP targets might.
*But if you didn't participate in the kill, you might get a PvP flag for being a ninja looter.

Thank you! This is what I hoped for.
