Entertainment will be provided tonight by resident bard Gwalchmai ap Llangolan who will regale us with the story of Drollomer the Wizened and his defeat of the Third Demon Incursion at the World Wound.

Enjoy your evening, and have an excellent sleep. Breakfast !waffles will be available at dawn tomorrow.

Yum! I want a regular table but I know you will be too busy a place for a peon to have such. ;)

Goblin Squad Member

I know a witch that will definitely be sampling your wares...

You're always welcome in the kitchen, Bringslite.

I'm sure we can find something special for any visiting witches.

While we're talking kitchen, maybe I can talk the breakfast chef into letting me whip up some Yeast Waffles. (they are very good)

Goblin Squad Member

I'm sure if you sweet-talk Miroslaw he'll let you have a corner of the table. He's also susceptible to bribes involving vodka.

Goblin Squad Member

Congratulations on your new endeavor. I plan to travel often and visit all the community hot spots, so I'm sure you'll see me.

Goblin Squad Member

I look forward to it. We'll know we're a hotspot if Hobs attends.

I was coming as a customer, not a dishwasher.... ;)

Wait... How many meals come with a shift?

pft...I just like to wander and sight-see and talk to people.

Besides, I heard you'll have good food. :)

No dishes for you. We have a nice table in the corner by the fire where you can hear the bard and still be close at hand if trouble breaks out on the floor and somebody needs a righteous head-thumping.

Elkhaven Inn and Tavern Thursday Features

Chef Miroslaw has received a cartload of superb quality sucking pigs from Hammerfall yesterday and has them slow roasting in a bed of colas in the pit as I write. They'll be on the tables this evening along with a tart sauce made from some amazing Blackwood Apples brought in from the Glade last week.

As a special treat, for those with deep pockets, we've received several bottles of a 4642 vintage Estates les Compangons of Riverbank burgundy that make the perfect compagnon to this evening's feature.

Resident bard Gwalchmai ap Llangolan will share the tale of Draanoc McMaghnus and the Lich of Aberingstwinkronfraldsmer, followed by a roundel of "99 Dwarves on the Mountain" to get your blood pumping.

I am very excited. *bounces around the room*

In a back corner, a paladin of Iomedae sits looking a bit weary and worse for wear. He silently listens to the cheerful bar maid recount the day's menu.

"That truly sounds delightful. However, all I require is a glass of sour wine mixed with water and a touch of honey, some bread and a small slice of mutton."

Slightly disappointed, the young girl asks "Will you be at least staying to see Gwalchmai? He is really quite something."

"No, the night is young, and I have work to do."

Goblin Squad Member

Caldeathe brings the watered wine and meal himself. Pausing, after placing it on the table, to put a hand of companionship on Traianus's shoulder. "Rest while you may, my son, and when you must out again. Our prayers will follow that Her guiding hand will be at your back."

Goblin Squad Member

*ahem* Maitre D? Maitre D? I would like your finest roast if you would be so happy to provide. And then take it out to those orphans hiding behind the backdoor. *puts down five platinums* I think that should cover your troubles (ifyouknowwhatImean)

*scoops up coins and heads into the back room*

**Bringslite watches, slightly amused as the stranger takes the roast to the 'orphans' at the back door. A small smile plays across his face as the confused children accept the food with gracious thanks. He knows that they are neither homeless nor hungry, but is pleased that they are polite to this odd man.**

**All the little group really wants are Caldeathe's extra butter tarts. 'Extras' which Caldeathe always seems to have for them, and mysteriously these always have a little more honey than the regular ones....**

Elkhaven Inn and Tavern Friday Features

We expect things will be quiet at the inn this evening, what with the whole place out watching "The PFO Alpha Testing Hijinks Comedy Event"

Still, the regulars will all be there, and Mirolsaw has created a savoury stew from the leftover suckling pig. We've opened a new keg of a pale amber ale recently arrived from Thornkeep and it should be a good evening.

Gwalchmai is taking the evening off, but we're going to have an open stage for the night, and Jonah will have his lute warmed up if anyone feels like a little impromptu karaoke.

*Caltonius wipes a little sweat from his brow and gives a quick thanks to lady luck that when the kids dropped the "roast" nobody noticed what was really under wraps.*

Elkhaven Inn and Tavern Tuesday Celebration

It was a busy weekend at the Elkhaven Inn and Tavern. We received several exciting new shipments just in time for week 10 of the landrush, and we're looking forward to an interesting week.

In honour of Kabal resettling nearby, We're hosting a celebration tonight. All citizens of Kabal, as well as their friends and just those curious are invited to attend an evening of festivities to welcome our friends to the neighbourhood.

Chef Mirolsaw is preparing his signature Caribou Stew which we'll be serving on sourdough trenchers with Elkhaven Special Stout.

For those arriving early, there will be a round robin darts tournament, followed by Gwalchami ap Llangolan's telling of The Siege of Caer Golga.

Throughout the evening, we'll be distributing maple-toffee cookies from a recipe developed especially for Kabal.

You're welcome to peddle your potions, mother, as long as you don't disturb the customers too much.
